"Jacob was amazing. I was just in there & he asked if I needed help finding some thing which has never happen in a convenient store. The man helped me find my beloved Rice Krispie Treat. He’s killin it with the customer service"
"Truck stop=not! Not large truck or RV friendly. Tight turns and steep ramp exit/entry."
"Robert is in need of customer service training in a bad way... we were behind a boy of about 10 who was trying to get a fountain drink. Robert wouldn't ring him up and instead made him use the auto checkout. The boy was having trouble, and Robert snapped at him to enter "another number" when it asked for a phone number (why do they need that?) The boy didn't understand as he likely didn't differentiate another "number" with what he really needed, which was another "digit." Then Robert abandoned his line to go get a manager to help another customer with propane. When Robert came back, the boy had followed the auto checkout directions as best he could, and he'd put his money in the machine. He told Robert the machine took his money and he should be done, Robert snapped, "well, it doesn't show that it took it." The boy was upset and went to the car to get more money. I gave the boy $2 for it, because the boy ALREADY HAD paid for it. Robert isn't cut out for customer service. I'll just keep going to Maverick; at least they're friendly. And Circle-K management... if the machines are too complicated for a 10 year old, they're too complicated for all of us; fix the damn things."
"Extremely disappointed to find self checkouts make their way into the store. I have stopped going to other stores because of being forced to use them. I'm sure there's lots of other people who feel exactly the same way. Self checkout should be an option when the regular line is busy for those who chose to use it. I will continue to shop at stores with people at registers over these machines every single time"
"Worst customer service. Our friend forgot his ID (who is almost 40) refused to sell alcohol to his wife who had ID. Then refused to sell to myself or my bf because we were in the 'same party' even thought we were in a separate vehicle. The other 3 of us provided IDs and we are all well over 21. Both employees were extremely rude, such bs."
