"Centennial is one of the best schools out there! Not only are academics important but we take great pride in our athletics and fine arts departments. I recommend Centennial High School for anyone and everyone. The people are amazing, sweet, and welcoming. I love attending school there. Some of these reviews are almost all based on parent views, why not try talking to current students? If I didn't start attending Centennial, who knows where I would be. The teachers and staff drive you to do whatever your mind is set to do."

"My daughter has been there since 9th grade, now she is a senior and is a wonderful school, they really care about students and keep them safe , and have good communication with parents. Is a good environment, security people do excellent work, most of the teachers are great, and games (football) are awesome."

"Honestly don't think this school deserves all this hate. I've never had a problem with any of the staff, only the students. The students always just seem very down and when the staff comes to help they push them away. It's not so much the teachers problem as it is the students problem with teachers, and how they don't think of even wanting to know the teachers. The students are the rudest people I've seen there and my 5th hours has a lack of any respect in any of there classes, they even are saying the teachers are rude because they can't talk in the class when they should be learning."

"I came to this school thinking that I'd be pleased with the teachers and students because of what my friends convinced me, but this school is horrible. Back in North Carolina, I went to Cedar Ridge High School, and they were better at running a school. I was being bullied right in front of my teacher and he did nothing about it. The teachers don't grade papers on time, and the staff are so rude it's insane. I can't even with this school."

"The front staff is really really rude. The attendants snap at you when you ask them a question while giving the stupidest look one can receive. One can't help but feel stupid while the front desk glares at you for not knowing something. The teachers want you to preform in an acceptable manner. They take no initiative in motivating the students to preform beyond the lowest possible passing standard. There are far too many rules like they don't trust us yet the school keeps insisting we're adults. A lot of the teachers are quite rude to the students. They're often unempathetic to the plights of the students telling them to leave their personal lives at home. They give huge amounts of homework almost college level. The large amount of school becomes a bigger burden on top of extra curricular activities such as sports and clubs. Some students have part time jobs. Ultimately, Centennial High School is a mediocre school with a poor education system. Out of all the schools in the Peoria High School district I rate Centennial easily the worst."
