"Awful! Noone should leave their OBGYN crying unless they get bad news about their pregnancy. I went in with concerns, which he completely dismissed. As I was trying to explain he told me to be quiet and told me that he doesn't care what I think. That it's based off what he sees. (Which I've only seen him twice before! That's not nearly enough time to have an underline understanding on my body and pregnancy.) As he is doing my ultrasound, he continues to tell me how my concerns are not valid- when I decide I'd rather focus on seeing my baby rather than being talked down to- I asked about my baby's private parts (as this was my confirmation gender ultrasound-) he dismissed me on that as well to continue to tell me about how my concern was not valid. He stopped the Ultrasound and gave me 2 photos. One of the very top of the baby's head and the second of just a black blank photo! I asked for more with a profile of the baby and it's genitals as well and he said "this is all I can do for you, you can come back in 5 weeks" so not only did he not care about my concerns with my health and tell me to stop taking. But he also robbed me of my gender ultrasound photos/ experience. I left and cried all the way home from my appointment. Beside myself on why I was treated the way I was treated, like I had done something wrong. Because I felt I had just missed out on a very special moment in my pregnancy, I had to go to a recreational ultrasound clinic and pay over $100 to get those important moments documented that should have been done by my OB. You're OB is supposed to be the person that's with you every step of the way and make you feel comfortable in the journey of having a child. I'm beside myself and will not see that man again."
