"This review is about the medical assistant named Maria or Moriah, I had to speak with at the Banner Health office at 9800 Estrella Parkway. When speaking with a nurse there last week about blood work results, she had asked me to check back this week about change in my prescription, due to the impact of the latest ransomware attack, so I was doing when I was routed to the medical assistant. After she spoke to me in a very argumentative way about why I was calling and was very rude and dismissive to my concerns and my need for calling, I asked her name and I let her know that I felt I was being treated badly. Keep in mind I was simply calling back about a prescription change as requested by the nurse. She refused to let me speak with the nurse as she “didn’t know where she was and was probably busy with other patients”. She continued to be dismissive and barely told me her name. She said it was Maria and then she corrected me when I repeated it back to her as either Moriah or Maria. She would not speak up and did not wish to engage with me as a patient there. I am very disappointed with the experience. You know we do have other choices and when we trust our care to a doctor we should we treated with care not disdain."

"I was scheduled for a new patient appointment at the end of January. I scheduled this appointment in November, so I had to wait a few months to get in to see Dr. Tholl. When I finally got in to see him, it was a HUGE disappointment. My appointment was at 1:00... I didn't see the Dr. until 1:45, and then he flipped through the paperwork I had so painstakingly prepared for him... rushed through the appointment with me... and literally did NOTHING. I looked at my watch when I entered the exam room AND when I left the exam room... total time was 15 minutes, but that included BP, and other vitals with CNA first. Dr. Tholl literally saw me 10 minutes at most, but he billed my Medicare insurance for a 45-minute appointment. He stated he wanted to see me again in 6 weeks and THEN he would do tests, etc... even though I had a terrible rash that I needed a cream for immediately... he wrote "6 weeks" in large letters, but when I took that orange laminated sheet to the front desk, the soonest they could schedule me for was out to 3 1/2 months!! I protested... saying "that's not 6 weeks!!" and they just nodded and half-smirked/smiled.... obviously, they didn't care. So I later called and made an appointment with a FNP, and she was great; however, I still would like to see a doctor at the time schedule when the doctor said I should come back (6 weeks). Jalista was fantastic... took lots of time with me and answered all my questions and ran badly needed blood tests. Dr. Tholl was NOT fantastic, and I was sorely disappointed with him."

"New patient visit in Dec 2023 and was told I had to make another appt to get refills for my hpb meds. I walk in for my appt, they ask for a copay of $70 and when I ask why I am told it is not scheduled as a well visit. I explain told to talk to the Dr about the billing. They ask the same questions, do the same BP, temp, ask what my meds are again. Dr tells me that is not what is in the file. I brought my bottles both times, showed them on cvs app. Anyhow I walk out now it's $114. I have had the same insurance for 6 years and have never heard of such a thing. Enter at your own risk and watch your billing. I will not return. I will drive to the East Valley to my previous Dr."

"I have been to this location twice so far, Both interactions were awesome. Minimal wait times, both providers were amazing. Stephanie Wolz was attentive and genuine. Finding a provider that seems to actually care seems harder and harder. Thank you Stephanie. The font desk staff were awesome as well. Kind and attentive. I am glad to have made this location my primary care visit."

"Dr. Nathan Tholl is knowledgeable, professional, courteous and I genuinely felt that he cares about your wellbeing. From the front desk, and all of the support staff are amazing! As difficult as it is to find a great doctor now days, I feel I finally did. Plenty of parking and great atmosphere."
