"I worked with this insurance agency for 2 years, when there was no need to contact them it was a ok agency. Last October I decided to move out of state, on October 1st I try to contact this office to be sure that my renters policy would be canceled by the end of the policy term and it would not be renewed. After several attempts to the office with no answer or returned calls, the move day came and went and on November the policy was renewed and I was charged for it. I again tried to call the office and this time the owner with still no proper response or service. The owner would only respond with "I'm out of the state, call the office" When I told her that I had called the office and no one responded or called be back she responded with. "weird someone is always at the office". On December I was charged for this policy once again. I again tried to call the office and the owner and I had zero success on getting this policy canceled and my money refunded. I finally contacted Progressive and although they don't have control on the policy they did the right thing and canceled this policy. Unfortunately because renter insurance policies belong to the agency that opened them progressive couldn't refund the fraudulent charges. I gave them a fair chance to do the right thing so I finally contacted my bank and had these charges reversed. This agency should be more considered of peoples budget, I'm thankful that I'm not hurting for money but for some families these charges could cause unnecessary overdraft fees and keep them from putting food on the table."
