"02/06/24 UPDATE. While getting a Rx filled at MY pharmacy I asked about the medication I get for my greyhound. The people pharmacy get get it for me WAY CHEAPER (20% less) and WAY FASTER (4-5 days)!!!! Prescriptions are stupid expensive and more importantly, I have experienced VERY slow response to get Rx filled over and over. Talked to my vet after last order that took SIX WEEKS to get. They called Wedgewood and were told that all orders are filled within a week. This order took FOUR weeks. Called Vet and told them they were not true to their word again. Vet called them and miraculously, my order arrived! Will ask my Vet to move my prescription when I need a refill."
"Totally confident about the compound meds they make. My doctor specifically told me to get my dog's med from this pharmacy even though it is in another state. Great and respectful customer service. I called them and said my last order was placed under the sun they just replaced it for me at no cost. Kind and caring professional people."
"I ran out of refills for a medication and they did not email me so I ran out of the medication. I was slightly upset but know I should have been attentive to that. but now after refilling my medication and ordering more and paying for faster shipping as my pet NEEDS this medication or I am out thousands to keep him alive. Its been over 7 business days."
"I initially hesitated to provide feedback, but I believe it's crucial to share my experience due to the misleading process employed by this pharmacy. After noticing similar concerns in other reviews, I feel compelled to shed light on the issue. Our veterinarian recommended Wedgewood, describing it as a compounding pharmacy in Scottsdale. We placed an order for medicine, and when I called to request "pick-up" instead of shipping due to my puppy's health issues, the phone consultant assured me it was possible to pick it up in Scottsdale. Upon checking the online portal, it indicated that the medicine was "complete." I drove over an hour to retrieve the medicine, making a call during the drive to customer service for confirmation. Despite enduring a 45+ minute hold time, I reached them only after arriving at the pharmacy. I discovered that the medication was marked as complete in New Jersey and was en route for "pick-up" in Scottsdale. At that point, there was nothing we could do, so my husband had to pick it up the following day to avoid further delays. When it came time for a refill, I decided to compare the cost of the medicine on Chewy. To my surprise, I found the powder form for $54 for 100 grams. Contrastingly, I had ordered 12 grams from Wedgewood for $72, plus additional shipping costs. This price difference was staggering, and the lack of free shipping exacerbated the situation. Given these circumstances, I would strongly advise reconsidering the choice of this pharmacy. There are likely better alternatives available, and based on my experience, I cannot recommend it."
"I wish I could give this place negative stars. Do not use this pharmacy. My pet was prescribed seizure medication and my vet recommended Wedgewood with the caveat that "their customer service isn't the greatest." We moved forward thinking we just want to be sure our pet gets the highest quality meds. Well, we certainly regret that now. First filling of the prescription was a nightmare, they said the order was filled the same day we ran out so I drove the over 30 minutes to pick it up only to be told that being "filled" only meant that it's done being made in new jersey and wont be here until maybe tomorrow. This is seizure mediation, my pet can't just go without. When I asked what could be done the staff (including the manager) was extremely rude and dismissive and offered zero help even though I was clearly distraught at the thought of my pet having a seizure due to running out of meds. I had to call the vet to get a temporary prescription sent to another pharmacy which I was able to pick up same day. Fast forward to second refill just a month later. We are on auto refill and got an email two weeks ago saying our order was confirmed and will be shipped to our house. I found it odd we hadn't reviewed the pills yet and my pet was almost out and so I called and was told that while my order was "confirmed" this didn't mean that they were actually making the medication as it was out of stock. So the online portal showed they were in the process of making it, my email said two weeks ago the order confirmed and on the phone they say it's still out of stock and they don't know when it would be back in stock. I'm not sure how a pharmacy doesn't understand how seizure meds are necessary but we switched to Elements and they are so wonderful."
