Walgreens Pharmacy

"The first time I went into the pharmacy, I was helped by a very kind, blonde haired manager. I explained to her that it was my first time that I had just moved into the area and so she put my information into the computer as far as my prescriptions. The second time I went, I was standing in line I was probably about the sixth person in line. There were four poles two to the left and two to the right, which had the black band from one pole to the other. The pole to the left had a sign on it that said exit so as I moved forward, I was talking to a young man while in line, and as the line moved, we went in between the four polls . As we approached, a girl who worked at the computer, pointed her finger at us, and told us very sternly “step back!” The young man and I just kind of looked at each other and thought OK so we stepped back when it was my turn. This girl she is a heavyset, Hispanic girl with kind of bulge eyes, and I’m not prejudice because I am Hispanic also. She asked me for my name and date of birth, so I proceeded to give her my last name first, and I spelled it out, because a lot of people have a hard time with that and she at that moment tilted her head at me and looked at me like I was dumb I continue to give her my information and she wasn’t nice. She had an attitude towards me. This is the same girl who pointed at me and said to stand back. I asked her if she was having a bad day and she refused to respond. I asked her why she was being so rude to me , and again she refused to respond. She would bat her eyes at me, and then I proceeded to ask her for the manager. Apparently the sign that said, exit had been turned the wrong direction, and the other side said wait here but I didn’t see that I saw exit anyways, I talked to the manager who was the one who helped me when I first went to the store very kind, sweet blonde, lady I didn’t get her name. Well, I had to come back a couple days later to pick up a prescription that was not in stock and was once again helped by the Hispanic girl. The only words she spoke to me was my name, and that was about it. I don’t want to go back there? I don’t want to be helped by her, I love people I’ve worked around people I’m 65 years old. I’m not a child and I don’t want to deal with people like that who have no respect for me. I feel that I deserve as a customer to be treated with respect especially if I haven’t done anything to be treated otherwise. So I don’t want to enter that store again I don’t want to deal with this girl. I may have to change my Walgreens location which is farther away, I believe. So that is why I only gave the Walgreens pharmacy one star because of this girl and her lack of public relations skills."

"I have never met anybody so unkind as the employees are here. I have severe ADHD and my work performance was always judged due to my disability. Katherine and violet judged me and constantly sabotaged me because of my disability. I can’t help what disease I have, but to want to do bad things to me because of a bad first impression and symptoms of a disease shows how really unkind 2 people can be. I have never ever in my life been with such a toxic work environment and never in my life have I ever been treated so cruel and unjust. Katherine and violet consistently wanted me in trouble. I always had to watch my back so that anything I say or do can’t be used against me. To have to work under those conditions is really frightening. I got fired because how cruel those 2 are. They are truly pure evil and I know god would be so so disappointed in how their behavior was toward me and other customers they have been rude to. Even if I hated somebody really bad, I would never treat them how they treated me. I hope a toxic work environment never costs anyone reading this their job. It’s so sad and cruel how they have no conscience or soul to show compassion. I know why everyone hates Katherine here and for whoever likes violet, she was probably the most diabolical person I have ever met. Sincerely former pharmacy manager Adam Mates Definitely don’t shop at this location. They don’t care about you and if they don’t like you, they will find a way to make you pay for crossing their path. I’m deeply deeply disgusted and I will pray really hard for them."

"We were in line at the drive thru pharmacy and right as my prescription was ready another car pulled up and they insisted that I pull around and go behind them. This was all after they told us they would be ready for pick up in 40 minutes and then we pulled up and they said it barely hit their system 15 mins ago. They entered it 55 mins ago at this point and I had a paper prescription!! Absolutely ridiculous!"

"Best experience I've had at a pharmacy; the staff were efficient and knowledgeable. I don't know if anyone will read this, but as a new father I had no idea what to do for my toddler when she got really sick in the night and everywhere was closed. Adam and another associate (can't remember her name) went above and beyond to get me the OTC I needed for her and help with dosage. 6/5 stars, hands down the best staff"

"Love this pharmacy! LOVED ADAM! Best pharmacist ever!! So kind & willing 2 help! Expressed his worry when I was running late 2 return 2 pick up my script. He was compassionate, efficient, & willing 2 help more than any pharmacist Ive ever met!! Cant wait til its time 4 a refill!! Lol! Keep up the great work guys!"
