About Us
Westside Head Start, located at 7400 West Olive Avenue in Peoria, Arizona, is a Catholic Charities institution that provides comprehensive early childhood education through a holistic approach involving the whole family. Our programs focus on pre-reading, language, math, cognitive skills, health, and social and emotional competence to prepare disadvantaged children for school and a successful future. In addition to center-based programs, we offer in-home services for expectant mothers and children 0-3 through weekly home visits. Our goal is to support parents in promoting their child's development and maximizing their potential.
