"Apartments are nice but management refuses to do anything about the dog poop around the grounds! For the price we are paying we shouldn’t have to see dog poop everyday! They also rarely answer the phone which I assume will only get worse since they are removing the onsite management team. Please do better!"
"Open parking is very limited between buildings 9 thru 12. This is not disclosed to you when signing your lease. Many times, I had to park across the street at Walmart on Greenfield and walk to my apartment in the middle of the night. Other times I had to park by the 60 Freeway which is on the other side of the complex late at night coming home from a late shift at work. Please note, people have an average of 3 vehicles per apartment unit. Sometimes more! Whether they registered all their vehicles with the community is unknown. They also park their work trucks/vans in the open parking spaces. There is quite a few of those as well! I paid a lot of money to live here, and parking should not be an issue. Regardless of the "fair market value". A 5-star community would have plenty of open parking spaces for their residents. You will pay for Fetch plus tax at $30 per month. This was added when rents were skyrocketing in the area. You can go on the fetch website and visit other community websites and see that Mark Taylor is taking their cut for that as well. Other communities charge $15 per month, as for Mark Taylor charges $30. However, Mark Taylor makes plenty of money. You will pay a $9.99 per month facility charge fee. I know businesses are in business to make money. However, at some point it becomes outrageous! The apartments have beautiful kitchens, and the landscaping is well maintained. Moving out will cost you. In your lease it will state there will be moving out expenses. It doesn't specifically tell you it's knit picking. The lease also states there is normal wear and tear as well. However, that's not considered during move out. You will get billed for every little thing. I lived in Military Housing which are quite picky. However, they are nothing compared to Mark Taylor. Some Insurance Policies you can sign during move in will cover up to $500 in carpet replacement upon move out for damages. If you move out on the 10th of the month, your insurance company will be billed by the end of that business day for the very next morning for "damages". If you don't mind paying a lot of money, then this place if for you!"
"I will miss living at San Piedra! The maintenance team is great. I have lived here for three years, and the maintenance team has been on the ball for every request. The grounds are very well maintained, and the leasing office staff are always happy to help with any problems that arise. The pool is open year-round and heated in the winter, which is nice! You really do get what you pay for here. San Piedra isn't just an apartment complex--it's a home."
"I have lived here for almost 2 1/2 years and love it so much that I just renewed my lease. The level of service I have received from the leasing office is top notch and any maintenance requests I've needed have been handled promptly. They do a great job at keeping the grounds well maintained and the amenities are amazing! My kids especially love the pool and playground. My neighbors are all super nice and there is a sense of community here. I feel safe and love how quiet it is here. This is by far the nicest apartment I've ever lived in and I'm happy to call San Piedra my home."
