Equinox on Country Club

"I wouldn’t recommend anyone to rent here. This isn’t luxury this is straight up trash. I recently lived at Equinox on Country Club from April to November 2023. Unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience. From the beginning, the property had issues, and despite promises from management to turn it into a luxury living experience, it fell short. During my first week, there was a random shooting in the apartment complex. Living next to a studio with constant noisy parties and a roach infestation added to the problems. In September, there was an attempted break-in, and when I reported it, the management, under Daniela, did not take appropriate action. Daniela was later fired, and Jessica took over as the manager, exhibiting a horrible attitude. Jessica attempted to invalidate my notice to move out in November, claiming it wasn't valid. She tried to use legal threats, but I stood my ground. Despite challenges, I moved out and returned the keys. I strongly advise against leasing at Equinox on Country Club due to these issues and poor management. Jessica's unprofessionalism is evident in her attitude and actions. The disregard for proper documentation and procedures reflects poorly on her management skills. Moreover, Jessica's attempt to intimidate me with legal threats was both unprofessional and unnecessary. Instead of addressing concerns and facilitating a smooth transition, she chose to use legal jargon to create unnecessary stress and confusion. Lastly, Jessica's lack of knowledge on how to initiate paperwork for a lease termination is a clear indication of unprofessionalism. As a property manager, understanding and executing the process for lease terminations is a fundamental part of the job. Her claim of being new does not excuse her from fulfilling basic responsibilities associated with the position. A competent manager should be well-trained and equipped to handle various situations, including lease terminations. Jessica's inability to navigate this process reflects a lack of preparedness, which can create unnecessary stress and confusion for tenants attempting to end their lease agreements. Overall, her failure to initiate proper paperwork demonstrates a significant shortcoming in her understanding of the property management role."

"I have called Equinox on Country Club formally known as Sandle Ridge Apartment home since March 2020. Corporate Management Nancy and Property Manager and maintenance staff who have made it possible to really appreciate the positive changes that are being implemented. From renovation of unit - to its landscape. The office availability and quality of a solution has really caused a greater appreciation. Making these apartment a safe and clean place we can call home is essential, and I believe that exactly what they are doing. Appreciate the active participation to address maintenance needs. Office staff are kind and welcomes with a smile. Appreciate when I am asked " how is everything going?" They really want to make sure our stay here is pleasant. Love the work out room and it equipment..Sure saves money on Gym membership, plus its convenient ..its right on site. So if your tired of paying for pricey apartment with no amenities and want to experience a new atmosphere and affordable price you can call home..then come stop on by Equinox on Country Club at 645 N Country Club Dr, Mesa, AZ 85201 to experience reasonable rate, beautiful unit and it amenities..you will feel welcomed.."

"Nov 13 2023 there was a stabbing management didn’t notify residents I had to watch cops and the victim and the suspect walk by while the victim almost died and no notifications and the new manager is rude she argues and belittles you for no reason I overheard her talking saying it’s operation taking out the trash meaning residence she doesn’t like she’s going to force them out the residence are in process of signing a petition to get her out, she made me pay for the past tenants electricity when the apartments should have taken care of it According to city of Mesa I have 4 kids she didn’t care so forced to pay a bill that was not mine but needed electricity for my kids so had no choice about to be month 3 and still no mailbox key she says shes busy but has her goons walking around yelling at people and if you tell them your problem she yells at you and says don’t talk to them you can only talk to her but gives you the excuse of she’s busy and can’t help you and rolls her eyes at you I’m just being a honest person and father I do not recommend this place you have drug addicts walking around and instead of fixing the main issues she wants to yell and threaten about smaller issues like to ticket you if someone else does something in front of of your apartment your responsible for it no if ands or buts and I’m not being a salty tenant I have videos of of the stabbing ther roach infestation they charge you for that but out of 3 months never came once but they charge you for it worst management ever everyone is leaving cause of management there’s a lady going to school for nails and having to do her hours to learn they charged her for running a business that she was not running but in the manger Jessica’s eyes your lying and she’s always right no matter what your dumb and she’s smarter then you if I could give zero stars I would just cause 80% are Hispanic and some illegals which doesn’t bother me but what does bother me is when you try to take advantage of those people cause your scaring them and they don’t want confrontation it’s sad to see her take advantage of people and she uses the old managers name cause she hasn’t qualified to be manager according to city of Mesa when she made us pay the past tenants bill just to get electricity in our own name they themselves city of Mesa said how she talks to people shouldn’t be qualified to be manager and I still live here so if I get kicked out for the truth it’s ok as long as I help some people not move in this horrible place I did my job and how she treats people what goes around comes around that’s why the apartments are starting a petition to fire her"

"Raised the rent once they bought out sandal ridge, the pools were inhabitable for months, our ceiling had black mold in it and leaking for months and all the did was paint over it after it had been like that for over 4 months, they put new shingles over top the old roof, nothing is getting done (especially not right). Make sure you do your homework first before signing anything!"
