Cortland at Raven

"We walked in for a tour of the apartment because a friend lived on the property and recommended it to us. We were excited to come check it out. When we walked in the manager asked us for our monthly budget. After we did so. The manager there, a woman in her forties with black hair and medium frame. Proceeded to act in a very curt and contemptous attitude. She gave us a price that was far above our budget (we later found out she lied because there are lower priced units available on their website) And she said we can come back for a tour if we had an appointment. We later checked online that the apartment had the entire afternoons worth of open slots for tours and she was not expecting any guests to come. She basically refused to give us a tour despite having the free time. We checked out four apartments that day in the area and this manager from Cortland at Rave was the least professional and least friendly manager. As a potential tenant we felt disrespected. As a manager she has not done her job. And as a company you have lost a future customer. This does not reflect well on your company. We don't know if she also treats other customers like this. Or she was being discriminative towards our race, gender or financial status. Overall we had a bad experience from this interaction. We felt that she was not being genuine with us and since the manager is a representative of the apartment, we felt that we are not welcome there. We left and we will not come back."

"First time living on my own and Briseida made the transition super easy. Had a bit of issues with the system not giving us our first month rent free but Briseida was able to come to the rescue and override the issue! Super neat! Property is very clean, modern, and quiet. Property has access to a walking trail and mini dog park. Also, Briseida is easily accessible and makes it easy for you to come to her whenever you have any questions or concerns. Couldn’t ask for a better leasing property!"

"I have lived here for a month and have no complaints. Michael and Briseida are very polite and punctual, and more importantly, friendly and they do their jobs very well. They text the community if there are any issues and keep us informed. Upon checking the apartment at move in, there were a few things that needed to be fixed and they were fixed within a day. The apt. complex is very quiet and very clean and there isn't anything to complain about. The apartments are updated and I honestly have not heard my neighbors, so the walls must be good and I havent heard even my upstairs neighbors. There is ample parking and no issues so far with the gates. What I like are the BBQs that are located close for you to use and the other people keep them clean. The gym is better than any place I have lived. It's located on the canal so there is biking and a walking trail, which is nice to escape too after a long day of work. I can walk to Raven golf course from my apartment to even hit balls on the driving range. Driving is not required. So many restaurants and shopping around that it is very convenient. Its worth the little extra rent to have peace of mind and the nonsmoking community is nice too. A lot of dogs, but there is a dog park and people seem to clean up after them. There is no barking really either. Im impressed, really, and probably the best apartments I have ever lived in. If you can afford them, I would recommend living here. Thanks"
