"This place is a jooke"

"We have had a great experience living here. Been here almost a year, no problems with management, or fellow residents. It's pretty quiet, people are friendly, but not intrusive. My only complaint is there is no stores nearby other than family dollar and dollar general. Fry's not toO far, but is a smaller one with less selection. Decent rent, even if a bit small. Overall, id recommend."

"The apartment complex is horrible you have NO PRIVACY in your apartment. Due to them having a swamp cooler you can hear every word your neighbor say and they can hear you. So if your having sex the neighbors can hear you and you can hear them. So if you have children they may hear the neighbors having sex. If it's summer time it's like your living outside that's how HOT and uncomfortable you are in your apartment. They play with your mail, you don't have a regular mail box. So it's a 50/50 chance you may receive your mail. Especially if the manager don't like you, or your talking to one of the tenants she like. And they begin charging late fees the day rent is due, not the day after your rent is due. They don't give you three or five days before they start charging late fees. Like "normal" apartment complex they begin charging you the actual day it is due. So just know when it comes to handlings your personal business, in order to PROTECT your privacy. It would be wise not to discuss in the home. Example if your handling business, where you may need to give out your social security number and birthday info, it would be wise. To go to your car or somewhere private because your neighbors can hear you giving out your PRIVATE information in the comfort of their home due to the swamp cooler. If there's problems with you and the neighbor they leave you guys up to handle things. Possibly putting you in harm's way. They "pretend" like their concern but they could careless. If you complain to them about it too much, you getting out. BEWARE this place is GREED driven. All they want is the money I can't believe Arizona Housing allows this inhumane living. In apartments community and you GOTTA pay rent and their apartments is so hot its like living outside. That's how hot it is in the apartment, I can't believe the State of Arizona allows a person to pay rent. Yet you have NO PRIVACY in their apartments. I get, due to the poor choices alot of us may have made in the past, is how and why we end up in places like that, but our money. Should give us rights and fair housing like other people money. But our money carry's no respect, consideration, PRIVACY or protection. With this company which this is not the name of the apartments anymore they have a NEW NAME "Monterey Villa's Apartment's." It's a gamble living there enter at your own risk."
