"Buyer beware, I scheduled an appointment and provided my insurance information over the phone. The insurance co-pay for an exam is $20 and they UP CHARGE an additional $29 for a total of $49. (Optomap retinal image) Lifetime Eye Care does not disclose this information on the phone while scheduling the appointment and they will slip the Up Charge in with a text to you while confirming the scheduled appointment. This communication process in my opinion is not transparent and sets consumers up for higher eye exam cost."
