"BEWARE OF MOVING HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The management is dishonest and conniving! The front office staff DELIBERATELY LIED about my move-out date so that they could keep my security deposit! I did a final walk-through with a staff member days before my lease was up, and they told me that I was all set to move out at that time. They said that everything had been taken care of. 3 weeks later, I received a check in the mail for $28, with no explanation of any deductions that were taken from my $250 deposit. When I reached out requesting an itemized list of deductions (which is a requirement under AZ law), they refused to answer or return my emails or phone calls. I then tried to reach out to MEB management services, which is the company that owns Haven, and they also ignored me. At this point, it had been nearly 2 months since I moved out, and I was already established in a new city. If you move here, you will need to take pictures/document everything that you do, so that the management will not try to take advantage of you. As a graduate student who is taking out loans with interest to support myself while I am in school, I was incredibly disappointed that Haven at Arrowhead would take advantage of me when I had been a compliant tenant for 2 years. I left my apartment spotless, and moved out on time. All that I asked for was some information about why my money was withheld. If you need any more reason to avoid this place, MEB management services were given 1 star out of 5 from the Better Business Bureau. They are not BBB accredited. Also, just look at these reviews on Google. All of the negative reviews have multiple "likes" from other residents that lived here and have shared negative experiences. I hope that this spares someone their time, money, and hassle in the future!"

"This place has been nothing short of phenomenal. Everything has been perfect: wonderful property and very nice apartments, well maintained, very nice staff! Really impressed with **JORGE BRAVO**, the man with a passion towards work. I can personally guarantee that none of the residents have to worry about maintenance because of this guy."

Jorge Bravo of the maintenance staff is not only friendly, but gives the impression of an extended family and represents Strayhorse with great professionalism. I would recommend Strayhorse Apartment complex to anyone looking for a clean, quite and respectable place to call home. The location is great with convenient shopping and close proximity to easily travel about--being located close to the 101 freeway."
