"Where are the owners of these apartments and why are they not reading the reviews and taken actions. This is so disppointing because I am searching for an apartment for my granddaughter and I live out of town. Reading these reviews lets me know what type of environment and up keep the administrations has influence on there responsiblity of taking care of their residents. I am so glad that the residents writes their review because without them I would not know what type of an apartment or danger I am putting my granddaughter in."
"This apartment complex is not a good idea to move into for a couple of reasons. The main is the administration. Irma Terrazas (Palacios) (The property manager) is not a professional and is very unorganized. She fails to return emails, phone calls, voicemails and when a response is given it is minimal and irrelevant. The responses she gives does not answer all your questions rather the ones she decides to. Which again if she answers requires you to wait another period if she responds. If you continue to call or reach out she will respond with attitude or not answer the call. I validated this by calling with a friends phone number and was promptly answered, when my voice was recognized I could hear the attitude and mood switch. Read through the comments below and pay attention to what is said, most are not exaggerated. Understand that when you sign the lease, legally, you are now at a disadvantage and at the mercy of the administration. Read the comments below, the good reviews from my investigation resulted in a luck of the draw in apartment condition and location. Leasing apartments should be easier and not depend on if you get a good one. If you are paying for full service (rent) you should receive full service. When you dont and admin doesn't respond and you go without understand you will still be required to pay full amounts."
"Made an appointment with the manager via telephone in July. When I arrived at my scheduled date and time the office was locked. I waited an hour outside in the summer heat. One of the residents said her car was in the parking lot. I tried to call her that afternoon to make sure she was OK. No answer. I left a voicemail that call, and placed two more voicemails over the next week without a return call. I called last month, the manager pretended the situation never occurred."
"IT'S CHEAP FOR A REASON! Neighbors were good but managment is useless. Roach problem, mold problem, electrical problems and even a bed bug problem in the complex at one time. Rent was raised every year. They will keep your deposit and charge you a ridiculous amount of money when you leave...even if you cleaned and mopped it. The corporate office in Virginia is useless as well, their company is called ""Christian relief services charities"" but there is NOTHING CHRISTIAN about the way they run things!!! check it out for yourself, Google it and read the ratings...ALL NEGATIVE!!!"
"BED BUGS AND ROACHES!!!! I found out why these apartments are so cheap. It would be ok if they would get rid of the bugs but they don't. I am in a year lease and have told them about their roach problem and they do as little as possible to fix the infestation. I still have bugs 8 mths later. Managment treats me like I have lived here a month. They do not care who you are or how long you have lived here just how long your lease is. They only fix what new renters will see when they come to the apartments, and once they have got you, they forget you. The managers have no people skills beyond what it takes to get you to sign a lease. Mean mangment, no dishwasher, no garbage disposal, no washer and dryer, you can't have a BBQ grill. And I was told they are raising the rent after your first lease is up. Spend the 50 extra bucks a month and go somewhere else!!! Trust me you wlll miss the extras, as well as being treated with respect and dignity."
