The Fountains Apartments

"I stayed at The Fountains for nearly 2 years. I never had any issues, I don’t know why people are posting “harassment” issues when Cecilia has been very professional and pleasant with me. She was very prompt in aiding with maintenance issues, of which there were few while I was staying there. She was also very good at communicating updates, or if you ever had an issue, she investigated to please her tenants. Jorge was also very nice and helpful. I will have to say that there was one area of opportunity: it was common to see people go through the dumpster which was not causing direct problems but it was somewhat uncomfortable at times. I just buzzed these people off as they were soliciting and trespassing in the property. That’s it. Be sure to pay on time, as anyone should, to keep business clean - with that being said, if there is an issue, at least attempt at addressing it in a professional manner before embarrassing yourself. I would also suggest other people to refrain from seeming entitled on these reviews, let’s be honest nobody works for you and you don’t deserve anything. We all have bills. Be cordial and make it work. Simple."

"Horrible experience. Management harassed me the entire time. It was my first apartment and it was like a nightmare. Residents eat out of the trash and break into mailboxes. These apartments are on the bad side of town, as I was told by friends. Do not sign their ridiculous leasing agreements (or any lease from MEB Inc., as they will be expanding). Do not move here."

"My experience here was terrible. The owners are cruel and harass. I do not recommend. Also, I saw people at night trying to break into the mailboxes. Rent at your own risk."

"The name itself is already false advertising; there is nothing luxurious about these shacks.. Cecilia should get sued for constantly lying and putting off repairs on tenanta at a rediculously absurd and offensive rate.. DO NOT SIGN A LEASE HERE! I STAND BEHIND MY WARNING! Ancient refrigerators, busted ovens & old cabinets penetrated with cocaroach droppings."

"I moved to these apartments in August and right away I noticed a horrible noise originating from the roof that would shake my entire ceiling. I asked management (Cecilia) about it and she told me that they were fixing the roof, that it would take 2-3 weeks. After they finished working on the roof the noise persisted and only got worse. It went from just shaking the roof to causing water leaks. Each time I would ask Cecilia about it and she would tell me that she would get someone on it right away. Then later she tells me that her and maintenance checked and couldn't find the noise. Which turn out to be okay because for a time (most of September) I had no other incidents with this trembling noise, but it eventually came back. First very softly and now it is back to shaking my ceiling. This noise happens at random intervals sometimes 10 minutes apart other times an hour or more. It continues to the night it has completely destroyed my sleeping schedule, I have no peace in my apartment since I am always anticipating this noise to start again. I have asked Cecilia again to which she responded that she has never heard the noise and therefore can't do anything about it. THIS IS RIDICULOUS BECAUSE I HAVE SHOWN HER SOUND RECORDING OF THE NOISE. I guess I should have expected this since when I was signing the lease she told me that the owners liked her because she helped them save money. Not very hard to tell why she saves them money. I am now constantly looking for new apartments to live in since this place obviously does not care for the people renting out their apartments. Aside from this I have asked her about other problems that my apartment has and nothing has been done about them. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE, NOT EVEN FOR THE LOW PRICE IT HAS."
