University Manor Apartments

"The new property manager—Bill— is a serious step-up from Gina. He is lowkey and personable. He's the breath of fresh air these apartments needed. From the past few months he've been here, this is what I've observed: He is quick to fix problems (which he does himself), most often the same day he hears about them. He keeps the property clean, which is hard to come by in Tucson. He's generous. He let me borrow his furniture dolly after hours, he let me extend my lease a day later with no fees to accommodate my schedule and he was extremely flexible to me fostering a cat during my time here. He's knowledgable on the property as he has been in the hospitality industry before. I've lived in 5 different apartments in 5 different years in Tucson, and because of Bill, I speak most highly about this one. Well worth the bang for your buck."

"I lived in 5 different places in Tucson and the manager at University Manor, Gina is one of the best manager I have ever met. She is very kind and considerate. The maintenance is also good. The location is close to the University of Arizona and downtown. The Studio is a bit small but other than that I was very satisfied living here."

"It was a pleasure living at the University Manor Studio apartments. The best part, was the very sweet, caring, & welcoming apartment manager, Ms. Gina Gutierrez. She really cared about me personally. On our first evening to arrive, she stayed late, past her working hours, to ensure we were able to get our keys in time, before the weekend. She was always so tentative, and always asking if there was anything we needed, or how we were doing! She definitely goes above and beyond, for her tenants! Ms. Gina was the best! As for the studio, It was quiet, clean, tenants kept to themselves, and the enclosed courtyard, grill and pool was a nice amenity! There was also on site laundry, that could be paid for by an app, or change, which was really convenient! The parking was also close. Thank you Ms. Gina, and University Manor apartments, for a really nice stay!"

"I've been living here for two years. Manor is quite good, especially when compared to other apartments. I've never heard of issues like cockroaches or mice here, unlike the apartment complex right next block which has a reputation for such problems. Maintenance requests are usually addressed within 2-3 days. Once, there was a leak on the floor, but I was impressed by how quickly they took care of it. The manager, Gina, is typically in the office during the week. One aspect I was dissatisfied with was the laundry facilities. However, they recently upgraded to new machines, and now you can conveniently pay using an app. The rent is a bit on the expensive side for a studio apartment, but it's worth noting that is in close to NorREC. The management is attentive, and the staff in the office are kind and helpful. Choosing Manor Apartments is a reasonable decision, if you don't mind the studio."

"I lived here for one year. These are average apartments that are exceptionally managed. I echo the sentiments about Gina shared by other reviewers. From the beginning, Gina went out of her way to to make my move-in as stress-free as possible. She is quite busy managing several different buildings, and yet, whenever I entered the office to reach out to her, whether it was to discuss a repair I needed, to report a suspicious person on the property, or just to share what was going on in my life, she always gave me her full attention. Having lived in many apartments over the last 16 years, I haven't come across a property manager more devoted to her tenants. I do think greater investment into the furnished units, which I had, would take these apartments to the next level. The mattresses are very firm so I had to buy a mattress topper. I also would've preferred an office chair, which I had to buy myself, rather than the regular table chair provided with the desk. Consider choosing this building if you are a student."
