"I have always been very skeptical about going to doctors let alone taking medication but after some life changes I felt the need to seek out for help. I had 2 terrible experiences going elsewhere where extra medication was prescribed and made me feel I did not want to live anymore. Until a friend shared Dr E. Fitzpatrick and since then my life has changed for better. She is so genuine, so caring, she goes above and beyond to make sure I have a better quality of life. She is def not pushy and for every medication she prescribe me she ask me if I am okay taking them and my answer has been " I trust you!". Thank you so much for all you have done these almost year I've been seeing you. I don't think I would be here writing this. I was desperate looking for the support/help/treatment provided by you! I am very thankful! Also want to give a shout out to Alexandria who always return to my calls, help me to get things set up for future appointments and anything else, always accommodating my needs. Highly recommended!"
"Dr Fitzpatrick is an amazing empathetic doctor. I have been nothing short of impressed with her. Regarding no mask among staff - they offer telemedicine so..just don’t go in?"
"This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a psychiatrist. The doctor I was seeing kept making unnecessary changes to my medications leaving me with bad withdrawal symptoms. When I contacted his office to see why he would not refill my original medication he stated because he did not think I had the particular condition ADHD because of a five question evaluation I took with him in his office WHILE I WAS ON MY MEDICATION. They don’t care about their patients prior medical history and want to control the show. I would not recommend these unempathetic psych doctors. You will be left to dry."
"Today, I had my first meeting with Dr. Fitzpatrick at BPG. So, we had a lengthy New Patient meeting that lasted over an hour. [Dr. Elizabeth Fitzpatrick, MD, is board certified in general psychiatry with a special interest in mood and anxiety disorders.] She met me in the lobby herself, took me to her office, and reviewed my medical history as illustrated in documents that were faxed weeks ago from my former provider who is located in Flagstaff. She also listened to me, took notes, and asked me questions. As a result of her in-office assessment, she realized I wasn't quite at the proper dosage of my current medication, so she increased the dose. In addition, she provided me with a new prescription in order to treat another symptom that has (re)surfaced. Dr. F stated that obtaining the correct diagnosis/label is NOT as important as getting the prescription therapy right. In collaboration with my counselor and me, she will be managing my medication from this point forward. I couldn't settle my co-payment today, so her office has allowed me an extension where I may pay over the phone at a near future date. How accommodating! So far, so good !!! It's been over a year now that she has been my p-doc. If anything changes, I'll update you."
"I've been seeing Dr Fitzpatrick for months now, without a problem. Whenever I schedule an appointment with the office, they are usually adequate but nothing special. Usually I get a call prior to appointments as a reminder however this time I wasn't given any phone call. The reason for this is because the office never updated my contact information. During my last visit I paid a extra fee for missing a previous appointment, because I didn't give them my new phone number. However after this appointment, I spoke to the head receptionist and updated all of my contact information, so that I can ensure I do not miss anymore appointments, which will incur a late fee. March 1st I had an appointment and was never contacted about it prior. The last appointment I had in which I updated my information was over a month ago. I called about the March 1st appointment and I asked why I wasn't contacted. I was then told that they had my old information and never updated my phone number. Then I was told that I would need to pay the missed appointment fee. I was told that I would need to negotiate with my Dr in regards to this fee, which I felt very uncomfortable with. I told the receptionist that it's not my job to explain the mistake made by the office, in regards to my information not being updated. I was then hung up on by the receptionist. She called me back and then proceeded to tell me that I was rude, and that I needed to have an appointment book of my own, and not rely on them to call me. I was also told that my Dr Fitzpatrick ordered them to tell me I would have to pay the fee, and not be rude to her staff. Firstly my Dr never even took the time to speak to me, to get my viewpoint on the disagreement. I'm upset that this office is more interested taking advantage of me and getting missed appointment money from me instead of actually providing health service. As a patient my Dr wasn't empathetic to me whatsoever, and neither was this office and that is unacceptable. Dr Fitzpatrick has no care or loyalty to her patients and clearly, charging hardworking patients extra money for errors made by her staff, if more important than actually providing customer service to her patient who is responsible for paying her bloody salary. Quite frankly I feel betrayed that I shared so much with someone who I thought cared about me as a patient, and then at the end all she cared about was herself and money"
