"Made an appointment 2 weeks ago for a procedure. Yesterday I recd a text at 4:15pm cancelling the appointment, no reason given. I called at 4:30pm, put on hold. Stayed on hold for close to an hour before giving up. Called first thing this morning to find out why. I was told we needed another consultation because the last one was 30 days ago. The scheduler had to know our consultation appointment date when they made the appointment for the procedure. They had to know it would be outside the 30 day window?? This is clearly poor procedures or an intentional money grab for another consultation fee. Furthermore, the office policy must be to leave folks on hold if they call after 4:30pm. This is the 2nd time that’s happened. I’m looking for another pain management doctor for sure. Follow up: I spoke with the office manager and was able to make another consultation appointment. This appointment was no charge. They also were able to work in the ablation procedure on the next day. Thanks for taking helping with this situation."
