"My last few visits with this office have been terrible. They have a high pressure environment and pushed unwanted and unneeded services and procedures. They did not do any due diligence and were not aware of previous treatments I have received. Extremely UNPROFESSIONAL!"

"I do NOT recommend One Medical! I was looking for a new primary care provider for my mom and received their flyer. I called the number on the flyer and extensively interviewed them. I am familiar with the medical field and had questions. I was very impressed with their answers... that is where it ended. I cannot provide specifics due to HIPAA but I can tell you they do not listen nor do they communicate with the family (yes, I had release of information). On a couple of occasions someone named Emily answered and tried giving me medical advice. Definitely not appropriate. Once exception is Dr Cynthia Hernandez. She was outstanding and always willing to help. The office is not inviting at all, it is outdated and dingy. If you are looking for a new provider, my advice is to keep looking."

"My husband, my mother and I have been patients at this location for a year and a half. We experienced rudeness from receptionist who actually argued with me and raised her voice in response to a very reasonable request by me for documentation for my mother's residential care facility required by the state. My mother is 96. Poor to no follow-up and follow-through on orders, etc. Last year, I had bronchitis and the notes say that I had success with the use of a nebulizer. The truth is, I never received the nebulizer because despite numerous requests by me and the medical supply company, they never received an order. Four months ago, I made a special trip to the Iora office with a urine sample which they have no record of, even though I personally handed it to a staff person. Right now I have my mother in the car at the door to urgent care because we had no response all day to a request for something for her significant symptoms. I just now received a call from the only staff member showing any care or compassion for patients. My husband received appropriate care and follow-up because Cynthia was his care coach. Thank you Cynthia. As of now, my husband and I have left this practice and my mother will do so soon. Don't believe that Iora cares about Seniors!"

"My wife Donna and I came to Iora Primary care in January 2018. It was without a doubt the BEST HEALTH CARE DECISION WE HAVE EVER MADE. The concept that Iora operates under is to provide excellent care to patients while in a comfortable environment, and also to provide supplemental services for their medical needs such as educational programs, exercise classes, and social needs such as women's groups etc. There is a full activities calendar posted each month, all free and available for patients to participate in as they choose. But lets talk about the care first. EVERY SINGLE STAFF MEMBER IS SKILLED, CROSS TRAINED IN THEIR JOBS (the Receptionist can draw blood, or help with referrals, etc.) Within a visit of two pretty much everyone you have been in contact with knows your name, greeting you as you enter. You are assigned a personal Health Coach when you enroll. They soon become a good friend. Your Health Coach accompanies your Physician on every appointment (with laptop), takes the notes, as ordered by doctor, issues prescription orders electronically to local or mail order pharmacy and assists the doctor by handling the intricate details of your visit. He or She is the person who coordinates all of your referrals when you begin care, although when you need renewals later, as I said, anyone can enter them in the computer to be checked by the health coach, of course. Questions to your doctor need only be for medical issues, not paperwork, how Perfect as doctors generally are not very easy to get on the phone... Call in sick without an appointment, they put you in touch with the Nurse to be triaged over the phone. If they feel you need to be seen, there are slots maintained at certain times and they will get you in Same Day if at all possible. There is a lab right in the office and most lab tests can be done right there by one of the staff- how incredibly handy, no need for fighting the crowds at Sonora Quest. They also do injections (flu shots etc.) in house - what a time saver to do it all at your doctor's office!! EVERY Person we have ever dealt with at Iora has been totally professional, skilled at their jobs and of course cross trained. They treat you not like a Number, but like their friend for whom they are here to help. How does THAT compare to a typical doctor's office of today, with full waiting rooms, very busy staff who try to be nice, but rush from your room to the next, sometimes not having time to answer your questions. Our Primary has been wonderful, taking time with you answering questions (also entering data on their laptop - paperless office ). Thorough, careful and personable, again you are treated like You Matter! (They will accept Hugs if you offer...) The teamwork of physician and health coach is just amazing. No detail is missed. Oh and they do give you a written report of the office visit. We are SO INCREDIBLY HAPPY we made this choice. And now to the item that is Important to me (not so much to my wife) Their tastefully appointed waiting room has a kitchenette with Keurig Coffee Maker! Ah, perfection, I grab a cup whenever I visit (they also have water and sometimes soda). Energy bars as well. Now those are important items! (Does your doctor's office offer these?) My wife is currently attending a free 8 week course on Balance (it is a Big issue for her). She plans to join the women's group (they make and sell items for benefit of certain charities, etc. probably a lot of socializing as well) The only reason we have not participated in more activities is that we have a pretty full calendar ourselves. So there it is, Iora Bell is like going to meet friends at your doctor's office, you get refreshments, sit comfortably but do not wait too long to see your physician, health coach, nurse, etc. They take care of your needs, lab work, and keep you smiling while they do it. You know your health care needs are in EXCELLENT HANDS, AND YOU MATTER, YOU ARE NOT JUST A NUMBER! I could go on and on, but I think this will give you the idea. JOIN TODAY!"
