"We waited over a week to get biopsy results once they had been delivered by fax. I was told to be patient, everybody is very busy. After four consecutive days of phone calls I was told that my oncologist was on vacation. Apparently the world stops for those patients while the doctor is on vacation.I was finally able to speak to the office manager on the fifth day (exactly one week after my biopsy results were available), who would have the covering doctor call me back. The office manager called back with results and offered an appointment with one of their breast surgeons in another two weeks. By that time I had already contacted the initial radiologist who had done the biopsy, was given a nurse navigator, and an appointment with a different breast surgeon for the following day. I had been a patient at Ironwood for five years, but apparently not considered important enough to be given proper attention. Be careful….very careful."

"Excellent service. I was in for iron infusion. All the nurses were excellent. Sandy was the nurse who always did my infusion. She was extremely professional and very friendly. Made my experience very easy going."

"If I am a cancer patient, I will NEVER consider this institution. I worked at this company and let me share to you what the public does not know. Before deciding to be seen by their clinics, why don't you pay a surprise visit and check their pharmacies. Their pharmacies where they compound your chemo medications are not in a sterile USP 797 or 800 guidelines. They don't have a full-time pharmacists on duty to check the pharmacy technicians infusions they will later administer to you. All the infusions are only checked by their registered nurses. I remember one of their staff administration called me and requested to remove these reviews on line I placed in YELP. Remember, you only have ONE LIFE TO LIVE. My father died from leukemia and I would not trust any of these incompetent people to take care of any of my family in the future. I would go to Mayo, City of Hope or Virginia Piper Cancer Center."
