"This review is very long but worth reading until the end if you have bad anxiety issues! I love the Pain Institute of Southern AZ! I see Dr. Cornidez and America Ramirez FNP-C and have been coming here for years. They are amazing people, truly care and the many procedures I have had given me great relief! Their staff are friendly, kind and seem to really enjoy working here! This is so important because I have Severe Anxiety Disorder and PTSD. My husband's symptoms can be much worse and he is usually with me. I NEVER dread coming here for my procedures. I had a last minute appointment with Lindsay FNP-C. She was nice and very thorough. She made sure I had everything I needed and she complimented me about something personal that was really important to me. Her assistant acted like she was annoyed and wanted in and out of there as fast as she could. I understand that the appointments need to move along quickly but she never looked me in the eye and she was unfriendly. I also understand that anyone can have a bad day. Unfortunately, she acted very similarly the last time I had an appointment with them. She walked up to me fast to check my blood pressure, grabbed up my arm, roughly wrapped the cuff around and pushed my arm back down. At this point I'm getting upset. I'm anxious and my husband is looking at her angrily from across the room. She finished up her questions and walked out. Good riddance. WTH? The rest of the appointment went well but I left with a tight chest, upset stomach and angry. I would have said something to Lindsay but she had students with her and they were all in a hurry out the door. Grrrrrrr.... We both needed Therapy techniques just to calm down! Wow... Next time I'll wait for a later appointment with America. She and the staff care and make me feel safe and relaxed. Done..."

"Dr. Elkins, his NP and medical staff are completely different than any medical professionals I've been treated by. They actually listen to your story and are compassionate. I was never treated like a drug addict or hypochondriac. I was involved in the decision making of my treatment and discussing the solutions for a healthy future. All staff were very detail oriented and professional. I wouldn't trust my spine with anyone else. I recommend this clinic hands down over anyone in the state. Thank you Dr. Elkins and staff, you've made my quality of life much better than I ever thought it could be with all my issues."
