Village Medical at Walgreens

"My overall experience with this facility was good, but my experience with Village medical as a whole was undignifying, unhelpful, and a complete waste of my time. When working with village medical, you will never be able to reach the front desk when you call; it all goes straight to a middle-man call center. If you do not like the inability to get a straight forward answer or clarification on something without having to call every few days, this is not the facility for you- none of the village medical locations will be. I knew my provider was leaving on the 14th of March, so I called in to have my prescription refilled on 3/4 to where it always has gone- costplusdrugs. After a few days, they sent it to Walgreens. I called in to have them switch it back to Cost Plus as walgreens wanted a $500 copay. I explained it was a website, the operator understood, and that was the beginning on a hellacious ride I wouldn't wish upon anyone else. Every few days I would call asking for an update. They'd either tell me it's at walgreens or say they need my pharmacy's phone number. This mean that every few days I was having the same conversation over and over again that it is a website, and I need it to go there like it used to. I would end up having the person on the phone repeat back to me the website every single time hoping that because they heard and understood me, but it STILL was the same call every few days. This was met with much frustration and tears on my end as I could not just speak to the office without them being the middleman, and today it ended up being the last straw. After weeks of back and forth, the office finally called me. The woman on the phone was immediately combative and rude as I was trying to fill her in on what was going on and why I was so frustrated. She then tells me that I told them to send it to some pharmacy I had never even heard of (which I immediately googled on the call because I really had no clue what she was talking about.) After all this, she let me know that they can't even fill it because my provider is gone anyway. This was such a let down because I did my due-diligence back on 3/4, but because Village Medical is staffed by a team of people who do not listen, have no sense of urgency, and do not care, they now expect me to schedule another appointment, pay them MORE money, and waste more of my time with them to get something that should have been done the right way to begin with. I have never felt so disrespected and disregarded by a medical office in my life. It's saddening to know they will not be held accountable for their actions and that now I have to remain unmedicated even longer and pay out of my own pocket to ameliorate their mistakes."

"My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Morris for over 20 years. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Dr. Morris is a very knowledgeable and kind physician. He's easy to talk to, and is a real down to earth person. His assistant is very pleasant too and very good at giving flu shots. Didn't feel a thing! The receptionist was very pleasant and welcoming. A beautiful and clean office. Thanks for being there for our family."

"The only issue was scheduling for lab work. Several text reminders to say to be in at 7:40. But the doors were locked when I and 2 other patients arrived. they were not opened until 8:00am. The receptionist let us in a few minutes early, which was great. Still there was a wait until everyone was in setup. Other than that the staff is always respectful and friendly."

"Excellent facility! Everyone I encountered there was so nice and treated me with respect. From the receptionist to the physician.. they were all amazing! The facility was extremely clean and very comfortable, and my wait time was not even 5 minutes until I was taken back. HIGHLY recommend!"
