"Monica was the teacher for our son from about mid 2022 to about August 2023 when he left Childtime for elementary school. I cannot express our gratitude enough to Ms. Monica for preparing our son for kindergarten. We felt that he was on track with skills/knowledge though we wondered about how much more we could prepare him. Ms. Monica fostered in our son's foundation of the basics - mathematics and reading - and also expanded his awareness of art, animals, the solar system, etc. She challenged him with reading comprehension tasks. She involved us with in depth conversations about what else we could do at home including providing workbook recommendations. And of course, it goes without saying that she was very approachable and quick to respond to any questions. Moreover, we regularly checked in with our son about how was Ms. Monica and daycare. He always responded positively. Ms. Monica is an amazing teacher and an asset to the company."
"We lasted four days, we just moved into town so my 3 year old was nervous about starting a new school, and so was I. Thankfully I had access to the cameras, I only had access for 3 days, I checked in a few times a day, stayed logged in when I noticed questionable activities; I witnessed the Directors son getting preferred treatment, transitions between and during activities were boring, 3 year olds sat at a table for over 30 minutes with no quiet activities; books, coloring while the other children we waking up from their nap, I feel like they were watching a video or something. We were never greeted, it was a total zoo in the morning, we felt this facility was unsafe. The staff was not gentle about my child's transition, they routinely updated my child's meal information wrong, once I caught a moment she didn't even touch the food and it was reported she ate everything. They updated her food when she wasn't even there. The final straw was watching a male staff member (who I had never met) rip my daughters comfort item from her hands after she was repeatedly trying to get their attention and was clearly upset. I recognize that young children can be upset about new places, but I was/am appalled. She was picked up immediately and never returned. Not only was this a total mistake, but it made the next school experience even worse because of her experience at Childtime. I shared this information with the Director who didn't offer an apology to me or my child. Kids are people, they deserve respect."
"Awful rude staff, I bring to their attention a complaint from my child about another kid throwing sand in her hair and the school aged afternoon teacher says "well there is a lot of dirt what do you expect" I expect for the Childtime staff to do their job and pay attention to children because sand can be harmful to the eyes and also for ethnic hair it is a lot harder to get out . This teacher didn't care and has been rude since my kids started 1 week ago. It's not ok the rudeness she provided for a concerned parent to bring up an issue. I will be following up with corporate since she seems to have an issue with me and my family."
"My daughter and son were enrolled here. It was amazing while Grace and Graces old staff were working here. I loved Amy and Angela. When Grace and Graces staff were working here I received photos and updates on their Brightwheel app daily. It made my wife and I happy to know that they were having fun and learning. After Grace and her staff left everything went downhill. There are hardly any notifications, my daughter came home with feces caked on her underwear, and the children are never greeted upon arriving. My wife and I highly suggest that you do not put your children in the two's room at this facility. The current staff in this room do not enjoy teaching the children how to potty train and we overheard the current staff in this room yelling at a child for pooping in his diaper, telling our daughter to "shut up" in an evil tone because she was left crying with her pants down laying in the bathroom, as well as telling another child in an evil tone that they aren't funny. Could you imagine such evil? This person definitely should not be working with children and needs to find a different career path. Everything we heard was reported to the new management team and nothing was done. I don't normally post reviews and especially not bad ones but if I were in your shoes I'd want to know."
"I have been taking my infant daughter to the Childtime at Ina/Thornydale for three months now. The staff is knowledgeable, caring and friendly. The infant room is colorful, clean and interesting to my child. She gets a lot of attention and interaction from the adults and is provided age-appropriate enrichment activities. Every time I come to pick her up (and I pick her up at different times throughout the week), she is clean, fed and happy. I couldn't ask for a better place for her to spend her day than Childtime and I have been extremely pleased with this facility and its staff."
