"Nicole left a bad taste in my mouth … she misdiagnosed me, and blamed my vaginismus on being overweight. Took me years to get the correct diagnosis, it’s def a skill issue."
"In general I am very supportive of Planned parenthood, but I do not recommend this clinic specifically. I had an IUD placed and found the experience very uncomfortable. The provider, Nicole, seemed rushed and not friendly. I don’t think she was concerned with the amount of pain I had. The billing department was really the worst part though. I was sent my first bill 9 months after the procedure! The funniest part was that I had full coverage for this procedure and they kept saying my insurance denied the claim- this was an absolute lie as my insurance has no claims submitted to them. I’m not sure if they’re “MO” is to wait to send a bill until insurance no longer accepts claims, but I was thankful mine takes claims up to 15 months post-appointment. Not sure if this is some sort of scam but seems sketchy to me!"
"I came here a few months ago to change my birth control & it was super easy. The front desk made me feel comfortable and put me at ease when it came to affording the service if my insurance can’t cover it. I was in and out. They provided me with all my information just like the first time to make sure I was set! Calling to make an appointment definitely is easy as well!"
"The front desk gentleman was very friendly and accommodating, as were all the nurses. I liked the entire staff, as they were very professional, kind, and gentle, which is very important when dealing with such a personal and delicate subject."
"The nurses and front desk guy were amazing, patient, and nice. The doctor, Nicole, was nice but seemed irritated and impatient when I told her I was nervous because I’d never gotten a pelvic exam before. Got an IUD here a couple weeks ago and was told that cramps and back pain would only last a couple days. Two weeks later I’m still getting severe pain and when I tried to request an appt online using their booking system, I listed it as a high priority problem to get in within a week if possible. They responded 4 days later just to say “we have no available appointment times in your time-frame, please call the office.” I called the office and they did have a time for me to book an appointment within 2 days which was great! I explained I have concerns about endometriosis as well and thought that might be why I’m in so much pain. But the lady on the phone was condescending when I didn’t know they can’t perform exams for endometriosis. I felt really stupid for even calling :( Also, you still can’t have anyone come with you to an appointment, and you must always wear a mask inside. I get that for a hospital, but for Planned Parenthood? Cmon guys, it’s scary going to Planned Parenthood, especially when you’re a young girl who’s never had any sort of pelvic exam before. You have to go alone and after my IUD insert I was in so much pain I could hardly drive myself home (I don’t think that’s normal but I should have been allowed to have someone with me.) I support Planned Parenthood as an organization, but I don’t feel comfortable going there alone with the way the doctor was irritated."
