"Visited a private party at the park. Was impressed by the cleanliness and accessibility."
"Plenty of trails to hike on! A nice, large playground for kids. Multiple pavilions for picnicking."
"Enjoyed my morning tea and donut by the lake. Went to hike up the mountain and saw lots of broken glass and other trash, and even what looked like paint on the rock walls. A nice panoramic view from the top!"
"Papago Park, just 3 miles from..Papago Park. This is Papago Park in Tempe. Great place for a not-to-strenuous hike in the desert or a short jaunt on a mountain bike. Definitely my new hiking spot. Men's bathroom was flooded with water so I had to use my own in my conversion van."
"The "Papago Park" name covers a pretty large area. The park near the Hole in the Rock is a must see and that is near the Zoo and Gardens area. Very nice park area with great views. The little "Papago Park" on the corner E Curry & N College is actually pretty run down and full of questionable characters and acts. Kinda strange considering the area. Drugs, trash, beggars and, those annoying scooters that are everywhere tossed in the pond. Definitely avoid this park area and stay on the trails behind it and keep going. Has potential."
