Great Skate

"I took my Grandchildren here, paid the skating fee of $10.00 each, totally fine and it was $4.00 for me to get in, to supervise and watch my grandchildren ages 9 and 11. Spectator fee they call it. This is not a sporting event! Then, my grandchildren had trouble, so we looked to get them a trainer, which is made of PVC pipe and wheels that they will rent to you for $7.00 apiece. I don’t understand the renting of the trainers. As a facility, with skating that could potentially cause great harm if fallen right, wouldn’t you want to help your young skaters to learn how to be able to skate without falling as much? This facility is about making money not making memories as far as I’m concerned! I have taken my children there when they were young. I grew up as a skater and speed skater, but find this very unsettling to charge a $7.00 rent fee to help someone get better. When they get better, they will want to come more meaning, you will get more business from them. You hand out your skating coupons to the schools and get them all excited to come and then, $$$! My grandchildren and I will never be back! It’s not about I don’t have the money, it’s about the principal! Do better Great Skate! I can see paying $3.00 for a rental but $7.00, come on and $4.00 to get in to spectate??? Come on, do better!!!"

"Great Skate facilities have been updated in the last 4 months!! They have a new skating floor, new carpet and more arcade machines. Went there for a birthday party and the kids had a great time! They did a great job at making the birthday child feel special! Our server Ethan was so helpful and made the experience stress less. He took care of every detail. The DJ experience was awesome for the party group! One of the adults in attendance even commented that the pizza wasn’t too bad!! We’ll be back. Thank you Ethan and Great Skate for making the birthday party unforgettable!"

"The location outside looks sketchy and doesn't look like a safe place inside it's small congested not well organized most of the arcade games are old and don't work. Food is way too expensive for the quality."

"Dude! Last time I was here I was a preteen on a church youth group trip. It's still as much fun as I remember although I'm older now lol. So, the fear of falling was much greater lol! Music done by a DJ, pizza and other food and lots of fun. They don't sell alcohol but do you really want a bunch of people roller skating while impaired? Lol, it would be funny to watch but not safe. They also have a lot of events scheduled for families as well as for adults. I would strongly suggest logging onto their website for more information. I also need to mention the place was clean and their customer service was great!"
