""Dust Devil, next level." Great park first the kiddos, especially if you bring their bikes or scooters. I have to admit, for an inner city-ish park, it is well kept. Parents, just a cautionary word, there are a few transients around, but nothing major. The playground is great, and there are a lot of fields for sports, or even playing fetch... also good for dogs (kidding!) But for real, great open space. The skate park area is pretty simple but cool. Very open. Random to note, but there are a good amount of trash and recycling bins around. There's also an exercise path with the equipment as well and a solid basketball court. Well Kept? Yes Shaded? Yes Swings? Both big and toddler Open field? A lot Public Restroom? Yes- bring your own wipes and sanitizer. Playground close to the main road (safety for children)? Not enough to have to helicopter Ground material? wood chips Parking? Plenty and there are trees offering shade."
"Great park! It’s clean and easy to watch the kids run around. I’ve also went walking in the early mornings and evenings and there are plenty of other people around that make you feel safe."
"The park is very nice. There are some homeless loitering around the park, but overall the park is one of the better ones in the area and definitely one of the bigger ones. There’s some good shades to block the sun on those super hot days of the summer."
"It is a nice park with a toddler playground and a playground for older kids. There's a splash pad and a skate park, too. The only downside is during the morning hours, there's quite a few homeless people around. I totally understand that it's the best place for them. It has a water source, bathroom, and relatively safe places to sleep. However, I don't feel comfortable going alone with my little one. Also, on one occasion, I took my child to the splash pad, but there were mini bars of soap, and it was dirty from people using it to shower/ clean themselves. We didn't even bother using it. Overall, I enjoy the park and look forward to visiting more when it's not 110°"
"At a distance of only a 1/2 mi. from home, this park has been a wonderful addition to the neighborhood! It has a full basketball court, a skate park, several picnick pavilions, with several bbq grills, a cooling off station for the kids, stationary exercise equipment dispersed at intervals throughout the park, plenty of grassy space, & a walkway throughout the whole park, which includes distance markers for those wanting to keep track of how far they have walked/ran/rode. The park has a lot of lighting, which patrons can control, including for the picnick pavilions, the skate park & the basketball court. The park is well maintained & for the most part, the patrons are well behaved. The park is approaching its 7th or 8th year in operation & it has a lot of green space that will help define it in its latter years. The park contains 2 Pokemon Go gyms & 15 or so Pokestops dispersed, mostly around the outer perimeter of the park. There are plenty of shady spots, so you can sit & read a book, crochet, or just observe. I know that from it's opening days, I have got a lot of use out of this park & I'm super grateful that it is so close to me. There is a CVS across the street, which is the only retail outlet within about a mile of the park. Kitty corner to the park is a huge Spring training complex, though I forget which team it belongs to. There is one bathroom in the park, & it is usually clean & well stocked. Bordering the park property is a community center, which is sort of like a YMCA. So for those that aren't familiar with 107th Ave. & Camelback, maybe you should be, because there is a lot to do packed into this little corner! Its a fantastic use of our tax dollar as far as I'm concerned!"
