"Such a fun place to take the Littles to. Have so many options for toddlers up to big kids. Love love love this place!"
"This park is cool and huge lots to do the party Ramada has power a sink and a grill we liked it."
"Celebrated my grand babies 1 yr old birthday. All the kids had fun at the play ground while us parents were watching from the Ramada and on the playground area. The party was a success."
""Goodyear, good fun." Make sure you wear your walking shoes, the landscape calls for ups and downs... and ups... and downs. It's great how diverse the play equipment is for all sizes and levels of energy. The zip line is usually the star of the show, and following closely behind is the concrete slide- a slide that looks normal but turns out to almost launch your kid off in a fit of glee. Though I rated 5 stars, my one complaint is that the hills make it difficult to perch up and watch your kids- you will find yourself following them around just to keep them in sight. Well Kept? Yes Shaded? Yes Swings? Yes- both toddler and big kids Open field? So much there often is organized sports going Public Restroom? Yes, even a changing table for baby Playground close to the main road (safety for children)? Not close enough to worry Ground material? wood chips by swings, but mostly rubber Parking? Close and easy."
"This is such a cool park! We love it. One negative is shade issues... There is no shade covering for most of the play equipment. This is Arizona!! Such an amazing park, I have no idea why they didn't include shade for the kids. There are 2 zip lines, one is for handicap children. There are 2 levels of playground equipment. Lower level has equipment for older children, and the top is for younger children. There is a big drinking water fountain in the middle that has spouts for older kids, smaller kids, and one at the bottom for dogs. It was turned off while we visited, maybe due to covid-19 right now. The floor is rubber which is awesome, except the swing area has wood chips. There is a cool wheel design for the picnic tables. There are charcoal barbecues in the center, tables with sinks!, and several covered picnic benches. It seems nice, except the metal roofing is angled which is great for only a couple tables at a time. Wish the roofing was over the entire area, it's Arizona!?! There are baseball fields, tennis courts, basketball courts...Parking is confusing if you think it's part of the rec center. You can park at the rec center, or drive one more street down then there is closer parking. There is no sash pad. There are no benches for adults to sit at near the older kid's play equipment. That's a huge negative for me! If you want to sit at the covered picnic tables, you won't be able to see your children because they would be at a lower level. Parents usually hide under one of the bridges that has even a tiny but of shade. It was a smart idea not to include trees around the park, so they didn't have to deal with tree leaf litter maintinance, but then at least provide alternate shade! The hills sourounding the park are fake grass. We did not see a dog park. I can also understand that not having a dog park cuts down on liability issues and insures that their park is clean and well maintained, but it could be a big negative to pet owner families. Overall a great park, we will come back when it's cooler because there is no shade for the kids."
