Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale

"This was my first time staying at a Four Seasons and had such high expectations. The resort itself was beautiful. The staff for the most part was good. What I was so disappointed in was the food and service. The restaurant Proof, the service was horrible. It took forever from being seated to getting your check. The servers seemed so stressed that you were completely overlooked. I ate here twice and same experience both times. I also ate dinner at the bar and ordered a hamburger medium rare and it was well done. I did not expect this at the Four Seasons. I had some excellent meals off property."

"May have been the least secure valet I've ever seen. Had multiple problems getting our car and they gave away our keys to another guests which is stone cold unacceptable. Also was extremely poor value for money. Beyond the rooms being average at best for the money, 18 dollars for a shot of Jack Daniels at the bar is highway robbery and shows a fundamental disrespect for you as a guest."

Knowledgable and generous, her Chicago-forged personality added a layer of professional charm to our outing. This coming from three college friends who have been meeting somewhere in America for 45 years to celebrate our friendship. Heather made the reunion all the more memorable."

"We came here for our 10 year wedding anniversary dinner. The staff was very friendly! Dinner was delicious. The ambiance was comfortable and relaxing, really wanted to stay a while. Highly recommend."

"Beautiful, well manicured grounds, but the service was disappointing. The first written communication addressed me as a Mr., despite my name being a very common classic female name. Subsequent written communication failed to address me at all, just a generic good morning/good afternoon. No offers for water at check in. We dined at 3 of their restaurants, all 3 made some sort of mistake in the bill. I guess this is one of those places they assume no one actually looks at the bill? No apologies for the extra annoyance and time wasted to fix the mistakes THEY made. Very quick to charge (did not respond when I asked for time to check the CC to ensure I was not being double charged) when they forgot something off the bill, but I've yet to hear back for a resolution when they charged extra for something that was not ordered. The spa was ok: the massage therapist was very nice, but their "relaxation lounge" was ridiculously small and cramped. Most of the women were hanging out waiting in the locker room because there was literally no other place to sit. The rooms were nice and the pool service is the only thing keeping me from going even lower in the rating. For a place purported for (and charging for) luxury, the details matter. This place was sorely lacking. Quite disappointing."
