"What an amazing property with impeccable service. The rooms, especially the Casitas, are exceedingly comfortable and the surroundings are beautiful. Meals and drinks at The Hacienda were delicious and served quickly. The conference facilities are well appointed for meetings of any size."

"This was one of my favorite hotels for years, but unfortunately they are slipping fast. The foyer is beautiful, most of the staff is delightful and engaging. This is especially true with the front desk, greeting crew, and guest services staff. The spa is also top notch and very well maintained. The staff is welcoming and helpful. Where they fall off a cliff is the rooms, guest halls, and common areas. They are all in need of significant updates. We had to changes rooms due to faulty HVAC. First it wouldn't cool, the room was north of 70 for more than 3 hours. Maintenance came and then it wouldn't stop cooling the room overnight. Woke up and it was 61 degrees in the room. The second room the balcony had a bird nesting in the roof. Within hours of serving the room the was bird feces all over the balcony and furniture. For the cost per night we expected better. This may have been our last time staying at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess."

"Very beautiful property and rooms were very clean and nicely appointed. We had a great time despite some chillier temps. Having roaming golden retrievers and a resort tortoise were great surprises for our toddler. But, for this price point and the marketing towards families, there are some critical failures the Fairmont needs to address. 1. Leaf blowers ran every morning between 5:30 and 6am. This was really disruptive to sleep. 2. Regular housekeeping was really difficult to organize. We booked a gold lounge level room which is a high-touch service level. They knew we had a three year old. Yet housekeeping came EVERY single day at 1pm (aka nap time). We told them to come in the mornings after the first occurrence but it never changed. There were days we had to forego service because despite numerous calls to the concierge / housekeeping, people never showed up. 3. This resort has “winter hours”. These are unpublished and unofficial but pool restaurants may close at will. Additionally, all restaurants may be closed if catering to conferences, but there will be no notice. You’ll just be left with no dining options on property."

"Fantastic experience for the second time! Stayed in one of the Gold rooms> Beautiful and very comfortable! Ryan was our concierge and he was extremely friendly and helpful. (It wasn't me who finished the wine Ryan) Also had Dinner at Bourbon Steak and I would highly recommend this restaurant. Great food, great wine list and great service We'll be back soon!"

"We recently went for Christmas at the Princess and it was a really fun experience! I have never been but it felt extremely luxurious and the pricing wasn't that bad. The event was interactive and wide, including most of the hotel spacing. The lights were all very pretty and the attractions were also super fun to take part in. We even ice skated and had plenty of space to learn how and have a good time. There were many fireplaces and places to keep warm while it was very cold that night. There were also romantic dining areas and a place for kids to ride rides."
