"I have been a patient of SimonMed for several years where I routinely get my mammogram there. This last visit was less to be desired. First of all... the countless texts, emails, and calls constantly to remind you of your visit is very bothersome. Even after I made an appointment the automated system was still sending me several reminders to schedule one. The system then continues to send you messages and calls even at the 15 minute mark of the appointment. It is total overkill in my opinion. When I arrived to the office I (and others) were never acknowledged. As I stood in front of the receptionist for a few minutes, I finally said "hello." I got a "hold on" comment while she continued to LOUDLY smack her gum in front of me and the rest of the patients waiting. I found this rude and completely unprofessional. On a positive note I was called back rather quickly, which was great. The technician was very nice and took me to my changing room. The room lacked personal care items like other imaging centers. I had to take my clothes with me to the imaging room. No clothing bags were given and there were no lockers available. The procedure went as expected and all was well. Once my procedure was finished the kind technician escorted me back to the changing room. As I opened the door to go in, it was rudely slammed shut by what I believe was a nurse. I only state this because I saw scrubs. I then had to go back into the x-ray room to change. I walked out of SimonMed somewhat stunned. It took several weeks to find out my results via looking at my portal. I never received a letter or any other forms of communication after my visit. They are so intransitive before your appointment and then basically ghost you once they get your money. I will be finding a new imaging center going forward."
"Experience at SimonImaging was great. The tech was kind, compassionate, and caring. However, the radiologist did not bother to compare previous scan done, so results were pretty worthless. I had brought in report from other facility so they knew a previous scan was done."
"I was told that my ultrasound would cost around $200 and when I went in for my appointment they tried to charge me over $600. When I asked them why they said oh sorry we had it on New York pricing. They decided to tell me this after I told them I would just cancel my appointment instead of paying the high price. The staff at the front desk didn’t seem very knowledgeable or friendly. I will add that the tech in the back was great!"
"Ultrasound tech was very nice. Good bedside manner. Check in person was polite but when they returned my ID she didn’t say anything and just held them out. I wasn’t looking. Probably should say here is your ID back. Be creative and say something. B+. A+ if they make that small adjustment. Be happy and appreciate patients."
"Where do I even begin... I am absolutely livid and heartbroken over the series of events that unfolded at this location just a week ago. I was eagerly anticipating my long-awaited appointment, having received multiple confirmations and even a phone call the day before to ensure everything was set. But to my sheer disappointment, I arrived only to be told that they couldn't reach me to inform me that they couldn't proceed with my scheduled scan. How is this even possible? The staff rescheduled my scan at another facility that supposedly had the capacity to accommodate me. However, in the midst of this chaotic process, we discovered that there were not one, but two scans supposedly requested on the order, and yet, the scheduling staff had completely neglected to even attempt the scheduling of the second test. Can you imagine the frustration and desperation I felt, desperately trying to get all my scans completed before the end of the year due to my dreaded deductible? Thankfully, we managed to secure appts. for both scans at the Paradise Valley location, but at what cost? The fact that they claim they couldn't reach me after having successfully done so the previous day is absolutely mind-boggling. I could perhaps understand if the facility was buzzing with activity, but that was far from the truth. How on earth could their scheduling center book an appointment that was simply impossible to carry out at this location? And to add insult to injury, why would the scheduling staff conveniently forget to mention the existence of the second scan altogether? I have a scanning implant that has to be removed for these tests, and I am left without two vital devices, each costing a staggering $45. This level of incompetence and disarray in their scheduling system and staff is beyond comprehension. I never thought I would say this, but what good are superior scans and results if the core of their operations, the scheduling system, is an absolute mess? It's heartbreaking to think that my doctor, who highly recommends SimonMed due to their exceptional quality, could be let down by such a colossal failure in the organization. This has been the most wretched and dismal Christmas for me. Instead of joy and celebration, I am left feeling utterly let down and devastated by the incompetence and negligence that marred what should have been a simple medical procedure. In the end my first test went much smoother and was done by an amazing Technician at Paradise Valley location. I’ve had scheduling issues before with SimonMed, but never this bad. The cherry on the top, I called the evening of the CANCELLED appointment to talk to the scheduling manager. I was told they were on the phone with another client and would call me back within 5-10 min. Not only did they not call back that night, but I’ve yet to hear from anyone. So, I thought it was time to go to the web. I guess I’ll probably hear from them now that it’s posted."
