"Awful! On a Thursday, my mom called me to let me know she was not feeling well. I called Sierra Tucson multiple times, and no one ever returned my call. My mother ended up in the ICU and was admitted at 11 pm the following Monday; no one on staff called me (I am her medical POA) to let me know what happened. When I received the call from my mom, not Sierra Tucson, that she was in the ICU, I frantically called Sierra Tucson and begged to get through to a doctor to find out what was going on; the receptionist told me no one was available to talk, which is entirely unacceptable. I had to message the C-suite staff on LinkedIn to get ahold of someone while sitting in the ICU with my already sick mother. I also want to add that she was promised 1:1 therapy every week, but her therapist canceled. I strongly advise not sending your loved ones here - please read the negative reviews, and especially if you live out of town, be warned that your loved one may be in the ICU and you may not know."
"I went through Sierra Tuscon in November this past year and stayed for 45 days. I was in the RWB program with Bill Reynolds. He is the best individual who works there. This man truly cares about the well being of clients and most importantly the Sobriety of all clients. He changed my life for the better. I can never repay what this man has done for me and my recovery since leaving Sierra Tuscon. This man changes lives for Vets. He is the one of the best human beings I’ve met in my life! Thanks again Bill…"
"The staff, doctors, therapists, nurses, instructors, all caring, wonderful, understanding people. I came here lost with no will to live, having SEVERE Complex Trauma, PTSD and Depression. I left knowing people cared about me, that I could care about myself and that things could get better. Sierra Tucson is a special place. I will be eternally grateful to Dr. McClane (who believed in me), Adam, Brenda Baker, Ruben, Nurse Megs, Jonathan, the great kitchen staff, and many, many others."
"While I don't have addiction issues , I have a lot of trauma, which is a catalyst to addiction. I attended this facility twice. First in 2018, which saved my life, due to self harm ideations. The experience showed me that I have a purpose in life, and I now travel the country, doing motivational and inspirational speaking. Second time in 2022, which improved my life in such a positive way, that I love the life I live! As with anything in life, if you put forth the effort, you reap incredible benefits. I went through the Red White and Blue program both times, and doctor Bill Reynolds (director of RWB) was amazing! Dr. Reynolds isn’t the only great clinician there, everyone I met, and was treated by, was amazing. I could Write a novel about my great experiences at Sierra Tucson. The grounds are BEAUTIFUL! The food was incredible, with many options. The only negative thing I could say, Is I wish I could afford to go all the time! I’m a retired police officer, I was $hot in the head in the line of duty, seven years ago. Through a nonprofit foundation that my wife and I started, we have helped send many people to Sierra Tucson to be treated For trauma. I stand behind Sierra Tucson, and their mission of changing lives for the better! if anyone from the facility reads this, I MISS YOU ALL, AND THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME!"
"I went to Sierra Tucson back in December of 2019. I went through their Red, White and Blue program which is specifically for first responders and veterans. Dr. Reynolds, the RWB director is an amazing doctor. Their attention to detail and care for their patients is top notch. They were able to assist me with my mental health issues and I returned to duty two months later. Back then I was surviving day to day. Now I am thriving and living my best life, all thanks to Dr. Reynolds and the team out at Sierra Tucson. Thanks Doc."
