Motel 6 Blythe, CA

"The highlight for me was the friendliness of the staff. Maggie at the front desk was just amazing. She was very efficient and helpful. She was patient and Answered all of my questions. But most of all she was very pleasant and I felt like she really wanted to help."

"Motel 6 used to be nice (many many years ago!), so what happened? Tom Bodett should be ashamed of himself! I pull up on my motorcycle and see the clerk at the desk. In the minute or two it took me to walk in the door, she conveniently put up the “We had to step away” sign. Why would you do that when you have a customer walking in?! Several minutes later she came back. Had I not had a non-refundable reservation, I would have left. Anyway, when the clerk came back she was nice and got me my room. Into the room and it appeared clean and looked to have been remodeled recently (but not too recently). But then the odor hits you. The room smelled like cat piss. I decided to stay in the room because I was tired and had been traveling all day. I liked that they didn’t have carpets and have laminate floors, and it appeared clean. However, after walking barefoot for a couple of minutes, the bottom of my feet turned black. So in the morning I had to wash my feet again before I put on my socks. But, it was quiet and the bedding and room seemed clean and I slept pretty good. So I bumped it up one star. Would I stay again? There are a lot of motels in this city, I think I could find another one that might be a little nicer."

"I feel comfortable staying here the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a reasonable price, very comfortable and the area is not bad at all. Places to eat are in walking distance, which is very convenient for us. The also have parking in the back for big rigs which is very convenient for my coworkers and myself."

"The staff were really helpful and really nice. They were able to get us a room quick and made sure if we needed anything they were there to help. The room was clean when we entered. The beds were also very comfortable which was really nice since me and my wife stayed multiple nights. The shower had hot water which was nice and the staff gave us extra towels as well. I have stayed at this motel twice in different instances and had really good experiences both times. They have free wifi and cable tv which was nice to watch. In both instances this hotel was the cheapest but it didnt seem like it was a cheap motel. I would definitely recommend this if you need a good motel for a good price."

"Clean, quiet, felt safe, and staff was very nice and accommodating. We travel cross country a lot and this hotel makes the list for one to stay at again. The only thing I have to hiv a heads up on is that our room was very small, this was not at all an issue for us as we were just passing through but that may affect others reading this who may need more space than we did."
