"The staff was friendly and did the best they could. However the motel was very run down. The room was musky and smelled, the main door did not seal great and you could see outside light all the way around the door. Their were scratches and paint chips on the walls, the entertainment system furniture was run down and damaged. The TV appeared to be new. The bathroom appeared to be old and even though it had been cleaned still looked dirty and just run down. The shower head spout was protruding from the wall and you could see into the wall so who knows what kind of water damage is in the walls. Bathtub had a wide scratch on it. I was on the main level and I could here the guests above me pretty well and they weren't evening being loud, you could especially hear when the shower was turned on. Overall, I was pretty uncomfortable with my stay."
"We stayed here for 6 nights. Got a decent rate. But, were put in the back corner, with only the view of the back building. When we first opened the door, it smelled like smoke. Pretty much every other room has a view of the central pool area. The biggest perk was the larger than average fridge. And a big con was how many people were smoking in the parking lot near our room, when the property is a no smoking zone. Also, there were a lot of things wrong with the room. A missing upper safety lock, a hole in the wall, bathroom door hinge broken, etc. $250 deposit at check-in."
"Room was clean and price was good. Down two stars for breakfast and the inability to keep the hot tub going through the winter months. Have been staying at this Econo Lodge for years. Breakfast has gone seriously downhill here. Used to have waffles, some warm food like eggs, potatoes, sausage. An assortment of breads, bagels, muffins, yogurt, fruit, and cereal. Now down to two choices of cereal and a couple of cold muffins with juice and milk. Very low end breakfast service now. Also do not keep the hot tub open through winter months even though it appears to be on and functioning. Every other hotel in St George somehow does this. Housekeeping is great, cleanliness is good, so value is acceptable."
"If I could give this place a 0 I would. This was the absolute worst place to stay. 1. They want a $250 incidentals deposit.(no reason to ask for that much) 2. Walking into the room was absolutely gross. Iron board was stained with food, blood and garbage. 3. Hot tub was closed and they said it was closed for winter but opens up in February?(sorry but that mid winter) 4. Breakfast was barley a breakfast. Little selection. 2 cereals and a muffin choice. 5. Bathroom door was broken and falling apart and very dirty. 6. Toilet paper was stuffed in peep hole, wrapped around door. 7. Carpets were not vacuumed or cleaned. Found old wrappers and chocolates on the ground. 8. Bathroom sink clogged and not drain all night!! I went to talk with the guy working that night around 7:45pm and he told me oh well nothing I can do about it and asked what I wanted him to do about it. He was ignorant and rude and didn’t care at all and said I can move you to another room but they are all like that. I’ll never ever stay here again and I hope this place shuts down. Also the photos they submitted to Expedia were false. Nothing looks like the photos. Awful."
"Not a very clean room with lack of hot water being a big problem. The temperature in the sink was tepid. The shower was 'almost' hot. The front desk was called, maintenance was sent, and I informed him - through the door - that it was most likely not 'my' room that needed attention and asked if he had checked the hot water heater(s). I was informed by him that it 'was' my room and to go to the desk to switch rooms. Why was I checked in to a room with no hot water if maintenance could tell me that with confidence? I called the FD again and asked for a manager. Was told he would call. Did he? No. The temp went up a bit on the hot water in the sink for about a half an hour after that. Then went right back down... I can deal with dirt. No hot water? No. Could not wait to drive away and will not consider this hotel again."
