Walmart Pharmacy

"We always get timely service at the Cave Creek pharmacy. All of your personnel are competent and friendly. However, I need to single out the pharmacist, Ida. She is the reason I originally transferred our prescriptions to Walmart after the funny and very pleasant experience of getting a flu vaccination. She always is helpful answering our questions and has bailed us out of an Rx issue more than once with her problem solving. If Ida ever leaves, I'd have to think our Walmart Pharmacy experience will be diminished."

"I went to pick up my daughter's prescription this afternoon and found that our insurance was no longer accepted at our pharmacy and they closed early in the day. So our doctor called in a prescription for my daughter 45 minutes before walmart closed and stayed on hold with them and me to make sure it would be filled tonight because my daughter would be in tremendous pain without it. Our doc got back on the phone with me and told me the walmart pharmacy confirmed with her that the prescription was being filled tonight. We rushed over to pick it up before closing and were told there was no prescription called in at all. When we told the clerk that we were on the phone when it was confirmed, suddenly the script was found but they claimed the first and last name was misspelled AND the birth day and year was wrong. I found this very hard to believe but they refused to fill the prescription and told us they would not call the doctor to confirm any of the info because they were closing. I told them our doc was still at the office and still was told no. I got ahold of our doctor and found out they did spell the name right and send the correct birthday. The pharmacy team simply didnt want to fill the prescription 45 minutes before closing time and decided a child could instead remain in screaming pain and we have to take her to the ER. This is exactly why I never shop at walmart to begin with. My mistake for thinking I could use thier pharmacy in an emergency."

"Such a great staff, anytime I run into any problems it's always taken care of immediately and without hassle. The Pharmacist, Moe, is fantastic, makes a point to remember every one of his customers/patients, and has even taken a personal interest into problems we were having with the insurance company on more than one occasion. Overall, great pharmacy, great staff. Best Walmart location I've been to yet."

"All of the staff in the pharmacy are terrific, very helpful and considerate. I spoke with different staff members as I had to come back and call several times for the medication but they were always apologetic and let me know when they were expecting it to come in. I felt they were attentive right away to customers in line and I never had to wait more than a few minutes, unlike Walgreens which is horrible! The lowest price on insulin I could find anywhere in town. Walgreens wanted 6 times the price and their staff is the worst in customer service I have ever seen! Something has to be done with companies like that. I will from now on go to Walmart for all my medications!"
