"Brought my chainsaw in several months ago (Feb or March) because it would not stay running. I called the following week for status and was told technician who does chainsaws was out sick for several days, but would have it ready as soon as he got back; mine is next. Called back three days later and was told technician was out for some other reason (it’s been so long, I can’t remember what it was for. Doesn’t really matter though.) I had a job that needed a chainsaw, so I bought another one from Horizon and forgot about this one. Received text from A&G on 07/13 that equipment was ready for pickup. Just picked it up today. Here are the notes from the technician: “Found carb loose, tightened, ($85.00) replaced plug ($5.08) and air filter ($8.52) adjusted carb.. Tested CH” When I picked it up, the guy at the front said “the carburetor was loose. Tightened two screws that hold it on, replaced the spark plug and air filter, and it’s working great…Total: $104.39” I replied “$104 for tightening two screws?” Counter guy: “…(crickets)…” Me: “Really though, you’re charging me $104 for tightening two screws?” Counter guy: (Ignores me and turns around and walks away) TLDR: Took months to have them tighten two screws and charged me $104. When I questioned the bill, I was ignored."

"After reading some of the previous reviews, I came to the conclusion that either Carl, manager, was not managing the business during this period or the reviews were written by family/friends to bolster the shops appearance. My first-time customer experience was a complete disaster. I brought my 7-month-old Husqvarna Backpack blower into the shop on May 19th after I exhausted all attempts to repair myself. I was greeted by Tyler, who said that they would not be able to look at it until earlier the following week. We discussed the fact that the blower was under a 24 month warranty. I called on May 26th to get the status on the repair and was told that there were two other blowers that were in front of mine and I should hear from them most likely the following day. On June 3rd, I called the second time and was told that it was being worked on and should be ready later that day. On June 10th, i called the 3rd time and was told they were waiting on a new carb and would call me when it was done. On June 14th, I received at text that it was ready for pickup. I was out of state so I asked my daughter to pickup and left a receipt of purchase to show the shop. My daughter called me to say that Carl wanted to charge me $264.00 for a blower I spent $324.00 brand new. I asked my daughter to put him on the phone and he refused to speak to me. He had the audacity to tell my daughter that I told Tyler it was only a month old, insinuating I had lied about the age of the blower that had absolutely nothing to do with anything! I will end with this, if you were the owner of this business, would you want Carl representing you."

"I bought a new Walker mower from AG turf 3 years ago. It has 40 hours on it. The motor backfired and exploded. AG went above and beyond to have the manufacturer replace everything necessary at no expense. I was very appreciative for everything that Carl has done for me. I tried to give him a tip but he said the company would not allow it. So i have been trying to talk him into letting me by the company lunch. If i buy a new mower it would have to be from AG Turf due to the quality of service I received."
