"We usually love to go to Homegoods but today was a complete disaster. We had bought a desk for 130, discounted to 115 due to scuffs here and there. All good so far. After paying, they offered to load it to our car, which sounded great! We pull the car up, open the trunk, and BOOM! The staff guy lifts our desk without care and the drawer falls, with all the ball bearings flying everywhere!! Manager comes out and I ask if they can offer it to us since it’s beyond repair. She replies we can lower it to $70. I couldn’t believe it! I decided to just return it and they refunded. Lesson learned, next time we will handle our merchandise ourselves."
