Reviews
"Dr. Zacher and his staff were professional, caring, and made me feel very comfortable. Thank you, Edna Sparks"
"Honestly, who would leave a good review for a dental practice? Something is wrong with you if you enjoy the dentist. BUT if you have to go, Dr. Zacher is the best, he is efficient with your time, beyond skilled, funny, and careful. The entire staff is warm, friendly and appear to very much enjoy their work environment. I just received a personal follow up text after having 2 crowns, and a couple fillings just to make sure I was feeling ok. Rhonda is the sweetest thing for checking in and sending appointment reminders. IF you must go to the dentist, this practice can't be beat!"
"Unfortunately, just an overall lack of transparency with billing, which I think is important when doing business. The front desk assistant can be very rude which makes it difficult when trying to book appointments or getting details on billing, etc."
"Dr. Zacher and his staff are simply wonderful. I cannot express how grateful I am to have found them. I went to another dentist for a cleaning and to have one tooth that was giving me a little pain looked at. I walked out of that Scottsdale office being told I needed extensive work done - and by extensive I'm talking about an estimate of work of over $6000.00 which included a couple of crowns, some fillings, sealants, etc. I was shocked. I have good teeth (at least I thought I did) and a pretty nice white smile. I was made to feel like all of my teeth were going to fall out if I didn't have the work done. So, I scheduled the appointment. After my head stopped spinning the next day I decided to get a second opinion. Fortunately, a friend recommended Dr. Zacher. I had my x-rays sent to him and went in for an exam/consult. Turns out I just needed a couple of fillings replaced! My shock turned to relief and then anger. I couldn't believe I almost spent thousands of dollars on unnecessary work - and I would have lost two of my natural teeth (to crowns) in the process! I went in a few days later to get the work done - which was fast, painless and cost me a few hundred dollars vs. thousands! If you want a great dentist with some actual integrity - and a super friendly staff to go along with it - I suggest you schedule an appointment with Dr. Zacher. They've got me for life. I just sent my father to Dr. Zacher... and I'll see him in 6 months for my next cleaning!"
"AWFUL experience today...long story short, I am looking for a new dentist. I love our old one, but he's a little far from our house...so, I started by getting recommendations from my area parenting board (the best board EVER). From there I narrowed it down to 3 offices and despite my broken arm, took Truman in his Service Dog vest off to check them out in person. I had a fairly dreadful experience at Dr. Mark Zacher's office. For those of you that don't know, I am a disabled person with a service dog. He is a hypoallergenic poodle and extremely well behaved. I was instructed by Dr. Zacher's Office Manager Rhonda that my dog was not welcome in their office (which by the way is beautiful with tv's, comfy leather sofas and a children's play room). I explained to her that under federal law, a Service Animal cannot be denied access to a facility. And, that I have NEVER in all my time with him (going on 3 years) been asked to leave. I can assure you that I am a very pleasant, nice (even fun) person. Truman was nestled near my feet having a snooze while this happened. He was not in any way disruptive. She told me that she would ask Dr. Zacher. About 15 minutes later Rhonda called back and told me the 'there was not a good fit', and that I could not use Dr. Zacher for my dental needs. I am very upset at being treated in this manner. After all if I had come in with a cane, would I have been denied access? The only recourse I have is to report back to you here and ask you to consider this when making your choices."
