"I had some billing issues with smith family dental. My first visit was for a cleaning. It should’ve been free with my insurance but they billed me for a “major” cleaning which is not 100% covered. Upon my second visit for a cleaning they tried to do the same thing stating the regular cleaning covered is only a tooth brushing (which is ridiculous). They refused to give me a regular cleaning. The staff here is nice but they have terrible communication and are not upfront about services and charges. They couldn’t show me a difference between their “major” cleaning and a normal cleaning. I assume this is a way they make more money off insurance and the customer. After weeks of waiting and scheduling for a normal cleaning, they up charge the service to a “major” cleaning last minute and fail to inform me of the reality of the situation. I will not be coming back to smith family dental."

"I love this place . Its family ran and they do great work . I changed insurance a while back and realized they didnt take my new insurance .. I found a new dentist that did and have to admit that not all dentist are created equal. Needless to say ive switched my insurance back and have returned to this practice . I highly reccomend this practice to anyone who needs a good dentist . He does pretty much everything ."

"No cleaning (booked for months), charged my insurance for the mandatory first time visit XRAY. Got examined and recommended limited ortho for my top row and was quoted for full price because "insurance works that way". This is one of those places, I'm not sure the quality would be good with this considered."

"I needed an extraction because of an infection. Doctor Smith said it needed to get done sooner than later. I was able to get in the same day for the extraction. Doctor Smith and his team were patient and considerate with me. They were on time and organized. I recommend Smith Family Dental to anyone that needs Dental Care."
