"For my first time coming to Nefertiti Hair Salon I had gotten waist length braids that took about 4 hours with 2 ladies braiding my hair. They did a great job doing what I asked but I didn’t like how messy everything was in the salon. They would constantly have stuff all over the floor, and dropping the combs then putting hand sanitizer disorganized working areas, they all shared the same blow drying comb that they didn’t clean before the next client. Due to the language barrier it was a very awkward experience because I didn’t know what these ladies were talking about my hair or not and to communicate what I wanted had to be translated to a different lady then another. Then when it came to the pricing was accurate when they quoted me the day before. But they didn’t tell me about how much each bag id hair would be and they could have told me that it would be cheaper if you buy your own hair instead of having the hair they have at the shop. The didn’t even ask me what length I wanted. But, the main thing for me had to be the pain in my neck after being pulled into 2 different directions and no breaks so they could be finished but it would have been nice to stretch every once in a while. They also didn’t ask me if the braids were too tight or not for my comfort, again, due to the language barrier I felt as though I couldn’t tell them anything."

"Came in to get my braids redone BUT CYNTHIA hooked me UP my neighbor usually braids my hair but this place 100/10 highly recommend.. all the ladies were super nice even Cynthia she's such a wonderful lady with beautiful hair ILL BE COMING BACK. AND YOU SHOULD COME HERE FOR BRAIDS. THE PRICE AFTER WAS AMAZING"

"Being from out of town I was dreading finding a new braid salon but I got lucky here. I was able to get a next day appointment. The vibe was good and everyone was pleasant. The Stylists work together like a team. I showed a picture to Fatounata and my hair came out looking even better than the picture. She was quick and always checked to be sure that I was comfortable. This s my new place!"

"Let me start by saying I was very happy with the outcome of my braids. I thought them to be very neat, and very even, Although I was not too happy with my arrival and finding out, my appointment was not the quoted price I was told over the phone. I felt that whoever I spoke to was very evasive with the pricing I also was told hair was included, I don’t think it’s fair to the customer to quote them one price via phone call then have them wait all the way until their appointment day to tell them the price is going to be three times what you were told and you will have to pay additional fees for the hair. just be sure to get precise pricing before you make the appointment. To be honest, it’s better to go into the store and do it! Anyway, like I said, overall, I am happy with the work. These braids were installed for my wedding in Jamaica, and I was able to get them style beautifully for my special day! I would definitely go back, but I would go into the store for my quote and I will have them put it in writing!"
