"I used to go to this place and the ONE AND ONLY reason I stayed was for my stylist as she was totally worth it and it used to be a family friendly establishment, but not anymore. I used to take my kiddos with me (and before you say kids don't belong in a salon) it was ALWAYS when nobody else was there and we were the only ones in the salon. Due to the new owners OCD my kids were no longer allowed to come with me because they would just want to play or rearrange the shampoo table and her OCD couldn't take it that it wasn't put back EXACTLY how she had it AND she made up a story that she had a complaint of them being too loud, but yet again were the only ones there so I knew this was a cockamany story. Perhaps if she is trying to change it to a non-family friendly establishment she should buy or partake of space in Sun City West. I'm so thankful I don't have to deal with this anymore and my stylist is in a place that is a family friendly place."

"I called in to schedule a last-minute appointment on a weekday, they fortunately had an opening in 30 minutes. I arrived and there were only 2 ladies working and another customer inside. The woman who came to cut my hair wasn’t the friendliest, she never even told me her name. I have pretty long hair and just asked for a trim and layers. I regret not getting the stylists name, all that she really mentioned was that she was pregnant…no small talk or anything, she seemed distracted. While she was blow drying my hair, her round brush kept getting caught in my hair and she would tug it out, which hurt and I commented on it. She said that never happens and she didn’t know why it was happening, but she just kept doing it. It wasn’t a very pleasant process and I almost just asked her to stop, I should have, but she moved on to a different spot and wasn’t rolling directly from my scalp. I really didn’t mind the mostly silent hair cut, or the fact that she wasn’t apologetic about the incident with the brush, but after I got home, I realized that I had tons of short hairs on top of my head where she was getting caught. I am pretty sure that she burned my hair while her brush was getting tangled and she was holding the dryer so close. I’ve always had fear of finding a new salon and new stylist specifically because of these situations. I’m sure this isn’t the norm, but it happened and even if I called to complain, it wouldn’t have done me any good."

"I started coming here because my hair stylist Larissa moved over here. What a fun salon! Always a great atmosphere, great products, and a comfortable place to be. Easy access right off the 101 freeway. Larissa is amazing. She puts up with my indecision on what to do with my hair and helps point me in the right direction. No matter what she does, my hair turns out the best it's ever looked."
