"Seems like a scam. Customer service was offputting/rates were DOUBLE that of what I wound up paying at Bronco Towing. Use Bronco!"
"My nephew was stranded due to a flat tire and locking keys in car with it running.... we called the number, waited 10-15 minutes for the call to be answered. We were told the driver would call when he is 5 min out and that someone would be there in 15 minutes..... after they secured payment ($219), my nephew waited an hour and called back and was told "the driver was called to a 911 emegency and would be there within the hour". Another hour went by and he called back and was again told to wait another 15 minutes.... he did and in the mean time I called red's towing to see if they would come quicker seeing their office was 10 miles away. And the SAME dispatcher called me back- can you say SCAM?!?! We ended up calling pima county sheriff office for assistance. My nephewis fighting to get his refund. When i called Red's Towing Service I explained that I would release payment ($249) as soon as the mechanic arrived. Of course they never arrived...."
"I called the day before and made an appointment. The appointment comes, and after 30 minutes of waiting after the scheduled appointment time, I call and they say that the driver is 20 minutes out. I wait 35 minutes, then call again and ask them for a refund. They say that they can’t give me a refund because the driver has already been dispatched. I guess I just don’t understand why you should even make an appointment if they are going to never show up. Then when you try to get a refund, they say that you cannot get issued a refund because the driver has been dispatched. So does that mean if the driver shows up 12 hours late, then that is OK because he was dispatched? I guess I just don’t understand this towing companies methods, but I highly do not recommend them"
"Charged three times the amount the Tow Truck Driver got. The guy was great but no more third party."
"I would rather carry my motorcycle on my back than use the “service” this company provides. I was in a motorcycle accident and needed to have my bike towed back to my house. When you’re in an accident, it’s not a great day. And it only got worse dealing with Reds/ Fidelity/ Auto Rescue Towing. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I thought I was calling a local company. The number I called comes up as a San Manuel AZ number. They tell me it’ll be an hour before a truck gets to me, and that it’s $245.00. Fill out this form, scan your license, we got your card number wrong...on and on. I just wrecked my bike. I am amazed to still be standing. Seriously. The tow truck driver finally shows up and doesn’t say a word to me. No hello, glad you’re ok, don’t worry we’ll take care of you. Man, that’s all I wanted to hear. We’ll take care of you. So there’s two guys in the truck. The company now isn’t Red’s Responsible, but Auto Rescue Towing. The guy who hasn’t said one word to me, now asks me to help him push my bike onto his truck. Obviously the winch attachment wasn’t working. So I look at the guy and say, “ I just wrecked my bike. I’m hurt, tired...I just want to go home.” He then tells me that he’ll have to call another driver to come and help him. Well then his buddy comes out of the tow truck cab. And he tells me he’s just his friend, and isn’t supposed to help him, but he will. And I can’t get a ride back with the tow truck because of COVID-19. That’s probably a key piece of information the dispatcher should say. I’m by myself. I figured I’d go with my bike. So as soon as my bike gets loaded I’m back on the phone with the San Manuel phone number. I let them know I’m unhappy with the service, especially since I was asked to load my own bike. The young lady who now is answering calls, because it is after 5pm, apologized and said a supervisor would contact me. Well that didn’t happen. So I called back. And received even worse treatment. “Do you have the name of the person you spoke to?” “I don’t know what you want me to say- we fulfilled our agreement. The bike was picked up and moved from point A to B. Sorry the driver didn’t greet you.” I could tell. I’m not an idiot. She didn’t care at all. So- here is my $265.00 advice. (Yeah the charge was $20 more for the excellent service). Don’t use this company, this service, these dispatchers. Any of it. To the owner’s of these companies, train your staff in customer service. Maybe even courtesy. I will never- never use this company or companies again."
