"I went there yesterday to get my son’s haircut, he’s 2 so he requires more patience because it’s overwhelming for him and he moves a lot. I got Don as his barber and I told him I wanted his hair to be like the picture of my son in the pink outfit, I just wanted it a little bit shorter with the sides faded a little more. Don was extremely nice but I don’t think he’s used to cutting toddlers hair which I would’ve wished he told me and let someone else do his hair. Instead of getting the sides faded he shaved the left side of my son’s head completely and you can’t come back from that. My son kept getting more agitated during this time and I understand that Don was just trying to be helpful when he offered my son lollipops but I also don’t think he realized that because my son is 2 he doesn’t understand what it means to wait. So Don had showed my son the lollipops and said you’ll get these if you hold still, and then proceeded to place them on the counter. That just upset my son more and Don did eventually give him one of the lollipops during the appointment. But because of that it didn’t help with my sons agitation. We ended up not finishing the appointment because my son was fed up with the whole thing and started to throw a tantrum. Don asked me to come back to finish his hair but honestly half of my sons head is shaved off so there isn’t anything he can do to make it look better. I’m sure Don is an amazing barber just maybe not for toddlers and should maybe think about refusing to work on them because they are a lot harder to work on than your average kid."

Needless to say, I've been a loyal client ever since. Not only are the barber's excellent at what they do, but several have also become my friends. The atmosphere is always friendly and has an "Old school" feel. 5 stars !"

"I scheduled an appointment pretty easily, and they were very communicative with text & email reminders. When I walked in, the staff was all very welcoming and friendly. The ambience was really nice too, with my preferred genre of music playing: definitely a vibe for those born in the 90's, since it's all the music we liked in high school. The staff is very open and joke with each other which makes the mood feel very light and uplifting, and you can tell they build personal relationships with their clientele. My haircut itself was very relaxing, and my guy didn't mind if we chatted away or sat in brief silence, since I often get lost in my own thoughts. The end result of my haircut was amazing, too! I usually go to Great Clips, but the attention to detail on how my hair grows or natural sits left me with confidence that these guys are the real deal, and now I don't ever want to go to Great Clips again. I wasn't sure what I wanted, so I gave them full, creative control; thanks for helping me re-imagine my look with a fresh, new style!"
