"Good luck finding a spot! People park CRAZY here. The parking lot isn’t huge to begin with and when you add in people that can’t park in an orderly fashion and people taking up two spots so they can camp in one, you’re probably going to end up parking on the side of the road. Which is apparently the norm anyway. There were more vehicles parked along the side of the road than in the parking lot. Again with people parked all crazy. Some halfway or more on the road and not leaving much room for cars to get by. Oh, and go to the bathroom before you go or out on the trail. I’ll spare you details on that!"
"This parking lot is one of the nicest gravel lots I've ever parked in. It's quite expansive and seems to be a pretty happening place, cars parked everywhere. If you've got to park in the area, I definitely suggest you give this lot a try. In all seriousness, I appreciate having this place to safely leave our vehicles while backpacking into Supai. Vehicles weren't touched even though they sat empty for days, and as a bonus - around 330-4AM my group caught an AMAZING, almost unbelievable view of the milky way and several of our solar system's planets. Really grateful we had this place to park so near the trailhead. The view of the canyon from up here is beautiful, too."
"The toilets need to be emptied out really bad. Also, keep an eye out for your backpack if it's hauled back up to the hilltop. I watched a small pile of bags get urinated on by a few of the natives dogs once they were unloaded off the mules."
