Boot Barn

"Typically the people here are very helpful, but today was different. I went in looking for a new pair of work boots for my birthday, and the man with a grey goatee and a cowboy hat probably mid 50s in the back, told me all their stock is out, they don’t keep anything in the back. So I asked about the single boot display up front for clearance, he attempted to convince me that the single boots are on clearance because they only have the one boot. “It happens sometimes” he told me. Feeling frustrated and unsure if I had been dealing with a complete idiot or being gas light, I asked the lady at the front, she said “of course we have the other boot why wouldn’t we? We can’t sell one boot”. I didn’t catch the guys name, but he made me never want to go back to that store ever again."

"Growing up we used to go to western warehouse in my home town! was looking to get a new pair of boots. I’ve been to the store a bunch of times. I’ve bought clothes. Bought boots for my son for myself. I know 5 AM. I know what I’m looking for. I didn’t have to deal with customer service today. I have heard people having bad experiences with boot barn because they tend to hire very young stuff who appear like they rather be left alone and not deal with people than to help. I was asked for help a few times but I knew what I was getting. I didn’t need any help. But every time I’ve been here. There’s always strange vibes from the cashiers. One time they didn’t believe us that we grabbed a pair of jeans from the 50% off rack if we buy another pair. Then they had to triple check that these were the right jeans because they didn’t feel like they were coded properly. However, the manager was awesome and honoring the pants that we purchased because they were located on the 50% off rack as long as we purchased another pair of pants. So the managers are cool. This time the cashiers. Just asked us if anybody helped us. I said no. The rest of the transaction was very quiet. Pay. And leave. And honestly, sometimes that’s nice. But I could see how this could bother some people as far as I know it wasn’t enough to stop me from coming back here. The next time I need a pair of boots."

"This location needs to review their customer service skills with their employees. I normally always have a pleasant interaction with the employees there but when i went in today, during the checkout process the girl helping us out (Karlee i believe was her name) was super rude and had an attitude during the transaction."

"I went into have my hat shaped . When I called around I spoke to a young lady at the other location and she said to go see Mark at the Dobson and 202. He has 20 years of experience and it shows! He is definitely a master of his craft and very detailed in his work. I'm a bit OCD and watching him do his thing made me feel very comfortable because of his attention to detail! I wasn't sure of the shape I wanted and when I asked him his opinion he replied "well it's your hat" which I replied back, "no it's our hat now" he chuckled and set me up perfectly for my body size and facial features."

"Great location, great selection and knowledgeable folks. I think your employees make your business. Thank goodness you have Andrew. Plan to spend a good amount of time here as it has lots to choose from."
