"The first couple of visits were very pleasant. The employees stayed involved and were tolerant of my first-time safe purchase experience. I went back to the store to get some pictures of the safe I bought and do some additional shopping. The employee today was very unhappy with his job, his life in general, and he was very unpleasant and offensive. He did as little as possible to assist me and was obstinate in everything that he did. I did not achieve my goal and did not do any additional shopping while in the store. This one employee will destroy your business if his negative personality is not put in check."
"Don’t buy chicks here. We went here in the first place because I was so excited to try their brand of feed. Finally a high protein layer crumble. When looking at the chicks however I noticed two barred rock with completely sealed pasty butt. After trying to hunt down an employee, I went to the counter and asked them to send someone over. When I went to show the employee the two chicks I was told they wash them every night. I pointed out that the chicks cannot defecate at all, they needed to be rinsed and not have to wait 9 hours (which will likely kill them). And then to admit the chicks are suffering from reoccurring and regular pasty butt? One sick chick has the capability to kill all of my flock at home. I even tried telling another employee who also looked at me like an idiot saying they’d washer them tonight. The employees need to be educated on the difference between a chicken with a little poop on it and a completely sealed and deadly pasty butt. I wanted the feed but I won’t be coming back. At least look at the chick the customer is concerned about before dismissal. Gives the same energy as back when Walmart had live fish for sale."
"Ordered and PAID for a gun safe online. Got the run around on the phone, on line and in the store. The "manager" was a total jerk.....horrible customer service skills. They did not have my safe and did ZERO to make it right. I was interested in a gun and some ammo while I was their. But after my experience they lost my business for good. Seems to be a re- occurring theme at this place. My "white privilage" didn't get me anywhere...so it's not profiling, just scrappy customer service! Just bought a similar gun safe at Tractor Supply. The ENTIRE STAFF was helpful and professional....go to Tractor Supply for your farm and ranch needs....they take care of their client's!"
"My boyfriend Robert Harris ordered a gun cabinet online, and paid for it, he called the store and the associate he talked to, did not know anything and to call the Internet online order phone number, and the girl who answered the phone said to call the store. So we visited the store since we were in the area. The gun department manager, was rude as hell and could not find the gun safe and told Robert that there were 2 gun safes in the back in layaway. This store needs to check the inventory and train their employees better, because the customer service sucks. Check your inventory and if the product is not in stock, then delete it out of your system. That is FALSE ADVERTISING, my boyfriend and I were both going to buy some guns. But with that kind of service it did not happen. You lost around $2,000 in sales."
"This is a new store in the area. It's more like a tractor supply than a sportsman's warehouse type store. This place is a very large store but lots of empty shelf space filled in with buckets or crates. They probably are waiting for more items but wanted to rush the grand opening. Today wasn't too bad. The store is laid out pretty well. Clothing is right when you walk in, gunn counter is in the back and way to the right is animals starting with dogs. The only complaint is checkout. There is just one big customer service like counter in the middle of the front area with 3 registers on each side there is no official area to line up for registers. I would like to see more signage or corralling with line barricades to keep things more streamlined if they are going to continue with the one big counter type check out. Or divide some into some dedicated check out lanes. Over all, a pleasant first time there, The workers were nice, the store was clean and organized for how busy they were. Will be back after a month or so to let the rest of their stock come in"
