"Ordered the #2 fish shrimp and chips combo, shrimp was great l, and the fish was pretty good too. I wasn’t wild about the fries, to much like a frozen bag fry. I assume the fish and shrimp is pre breaded and frozen but still had good taste. As for the pirate sauce, it was different, not a taste I’m used to when eating fish or shrimp, but it wasn’t bad. Definitely a good little fish and chips spot! Place was extremely busy, so that’s gotta tell you something!"

"I've been living in the area for years and have always passed Pirate's Fish & Chips and wondered if it was any good. Well I no longer have to wonder as I finally stopped today and am thoroughly disappointed. I got a #2 which is Fish, Shrimp, Fries and a large soda. I was expecting actual fish fillets breaded and cooked, not McDonald's style Filet-o-Fish squares, immediate turn off. At the very least the fish was cooked thoroughly but it was bland and tasteless. Same goes for the shrimp, not much to say about them, I actually wish they were shrimp with tails, just prefer that kind of breaded/fried shrimp. As for the fries, they were under cooked and saltless. Overall I'm very underwhelmed for a place that is supposed to specialize in seafood, it was mid as heck."

"Waited 20 minutes in the drive thru and it was not worth it the food tastes like something you can buy frozen. The fries were soft they were not crispy and the sauce sucks they don't give you tarter sauce it's like a ketchup mixed with hot sauce"

"Breading better than Pete's. Sauce similar and prices cheaper. Still cash only is my only negative. Fast service. They were out of Scallops, but shrimp and chips was a good choice. Wife's combo meal was a good value. Fries could be improved."

"Everyone who gives this place bad review is absolutely ridiculous. This place has amazing food with great staff. I’ve seen this place here in chandler for many years and I’ve never stopped by to get it. Today I decided what the heck I’m feeling fish and I will now continue to come here any time I want fish. Food is cooked fresh. Every bite is super crispy and fresh. The sauce they give you with the food ties it all together. Absolutely mouth watering. Seasoned to perfection. I’m so glad I stopped here today. First response I get is welcome in how can I help you. On top of that lady at front even took the time to explain the menu and give suggestions based on customer orders and her personal favorites. I don’t know her name but she was super respectful and even gave me extra sauce. If you want excellent food that will leave you wanting more I definitely recommend this place. You will not regret."
