"Stopped in here to kill some time before heading to a beer tasting close by. Place was chill and inviting. Bloody Mary was tasty and service was good! What wasn’t good, was my date trekking me through the desert behind this bar to Salt River Fields, wearing flip flops, while he wore tennis shoes. ( I know how to pick them.) This “quick” walk over turned into a 3 hour tour, he is an older lad, so we had to take a few breaks so he could gather himself and catch his breath! I have become accustomed to this. Anywho, if in this area check out Backyards and order a Bloody Mary, you won’t be disappointed!"

"Just had chips queso and salsa . I had the shredded chicken tacos on Saturday they were good and the Spanish rice wasn't so hot next time I will get fries or tots. PBR on tap, Busch light and bud light but no Budweiser. Has a burger tonight for the first time cooked the way I wanted but was under seasoned and had the tots they were pretty good. Only one bartender running the place and floor around 530 pm. Definitely the neighborhood style bar . Plus a USC watch party location."
