"It’s my first time being in a Portillo’s. Very impresses by its decor and vibe that replicates the classic old-fashion Chicago food market experience. A 5-star atmosphere for newcomers. But the food we ordered: Italian beef sandwich, hot dog, and cheeseburger were just ok. It’s definitely not as impressive as the indoor decors. The layout could be confusing when there is a counter next to entrance made you feel like a cashier when it’s only for certain only order. It takes time to figure out where to order."

"High quality, consistently good food. No frills Chicago style place that everyone should try. I usually order the Italian Sausage with sweet peppers. A good-sized sausage with robust flavors served on a freshly baked and tasty bun. The sausage is juicy, tender, and comes out hit. It is hard to find a better sausage sandwich anywhere. The fries are always cooked fresh, crispy on the outside and mash potato like on the inside. The prices are reasonable and the staff is usually friendly. I have been frequenting this place Scottsdale staple for years and will continue to do so."
